Anyone going from here? I am looking at the classes and they don't seem sold out so I may have a chance at one!

I'm going Thursday and taking a class from Tattered angels-Natural Beauty mini album.
I also get to work Wednesday for one of my favorite shopping places-looking forward to it.

I'm going with a bunch of people from my stamp club. We're all taking fewer classes than last year - we weren't real impressed with them last year so we've pared down. Hopefully they got the hint since so few classes are sold out this year. Looking forward to the vendor fair (and Tim Holtz in person!) the most!

My friends and I are flying from Illinois and New York to that convention in Arlington. We are taking some of the classes by The Digital Scrapbook Teacher. We go to a different convention each year. Last year we asked one of the vendors we have seen in many places which conventions have the best vendor fairs. He highly recommended the Arlington, TX event for great shopping.

OMG, yes...I worked at dollarscrapbooking.net for setup and ended up spending twice as much as I made and that's just for starters.
Fancy Pants booth had the gatefold albums for $10, along with a whole bunch of $1 stuff.

Picked up a kit and a printers tray from Button Farm- I usually don't do kits, but hers are fabulous.

My fav-- the Distrezz it all from Scrapbooks and Stickers.

I also like the Queen and Company booth for the $1 bling.

There are coupons in the back of the books this year so take a look at those or you can see them on the GASC website.

It was great fun and got to see Tim Holtz.

I did most of my damage in 2 hours, but then I avoid anything that I can get online and have to pay regular price for.

It's 12 to get in the door plus parking. I think I'll save that and shop online!

OMGoshhhh! I got great bargains today and spent 9 hours there. The classes are closing really fast and the crowds are great. A couple of places are running low on merchandise which is a good sign for the economy. Lots and lots of $1 stuff everywhere!
