Do any of you own any stamp sets from Gel-a-tins? Could you please share your opinions with me? They have a set I REALLY want to get, just wondering about the quality, etc. Thanks in advance!

I just received "Coffee Break" as a gift... on a practice stamp it worked great! Love the design. Haven't really gotten a chance to play. I did see an ad in Paper Crafts magazine showing a scented EP that they are making. I would love to try that!
Just stumbled across this and had to comment. I LOVE them and the cute tins that they come in... or as much as the tins that they com in... I'm not quite sure! LOL!
Thank you for starting this thread - I was considering a purchase with them as well. Now I can place the order (if they ship to APO addresses that is...)

Oooooh, I have the Chocolate Bliss one, and adore it--I want the Coffee Break one, too. I went NUTS over Jess Witty's designs using these two sets in the last Paper Crafts!
I even bought the little candy paper cups to CASE the truffle card she did! Just DARLING!!!

I have the coffee break, chocolate bliss, create your own flourish, sewing kit, hearts a flutter (I think that is the name) and varoom! sets. They are awesome. My LSS sells some of them but I bought a few from the actual website too. They seem to run a little more expensive from the website but they do have great service.

I am obsessed with them! They are some of the nicest quality acrylics I have used. Awesome images too. I've got 10 sets, with several holiday ones on the way I get mine right from the source...
Dang that means I have to order some. I am starting really really like some acrylic stamps.
The improvements over the last 2 years in clear stamp manufacturing have really turned me around.
You still can't do certain techniques with them, that can be done with rubber, especially those involving intense heat, like velvet embossing, deep thermal embossing, etc. but, I'll admit I am enjoying the good quality photopolymer stamps every bit as some of my favorite ruby red! ;)

I ordered them directly from Gelatin Stamps. For a first time customer I am very happy and would definitely order from them again. I hope this link works. http://www.gelatinstamps.com/shop/index.php?cPath=23 you will have to scroll down a bit to see the "coffee break" set. HTH!

Would you all PLEASE stop enabling me!!! I am very weak and really need to be stopped! By the way...LOVE the Chocolate Bliss set. I really don't know how I've never seen it before. Definitely a must have, right? (Check out my SCS name.)
I love Gel A tins. I have been getting them once a month for a few years in a kit club. They are wonderful. I have never had a problem. Their customer service is excellant as well.
Really????!!!! WOW!!! That's the first I'd heard of that!
That is COOL!!!
Can you do deep thermal embossing, too, without complication?
Not sure exactly what you mean by deep thermal embossing? Is that empressing a stamp into UT or hot embossing powder, if so than yes our stamps can do that.
To give you an idea how much heat a CTMH acrylic stamp can take at convention a few years ago they put some of our stamps into a hot frying pan for awhile and they came out un-harmed! I think they'll stand up to just about any stamping technique
Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but can you tell me is there any place online I can view CTMH's catalog or stamps??? I have always wanted to see what is available.

Well, then, consider me duly re-educated! ;) I appreciated this information immensely, Heather! THANK YOU!!!

I just got the mail and my tins came. The shipping was very fast and the sets are worth the price. I got the NHL teams- logo set and Hockey goals. I am going home tonight to make a card. I love to get new stamps and I will be purchasing more from gel a tins.
What kind of blocks do you use for these? The acrylic blocks? Do they just cling right to the block? I am a novice in the clear stamps dept!@! Can you tell? ha ha! I would love to get the coffee one and the chocolate one! too cute!
