these can actually be bought at walmart in many colors, just look in the stationary section where all the pens are... can be pricey though, I think about $20 sometimes for 10, all they really are are the gel pens that the middle school and High school kids love to buy... I had a lot of them in school, used them to write colorful notes to boyfriends/friends etc.
if you get the metallic ones watch out because they get clogged fromthe glitter in them

although if you get the neon colors they write on black paper.... very cool - the neon green, orange, pink, white etc

You'd almost have to get some color because buying 9 white gel pens just to get free shipping might be going a little overboard -- unless you do faux stitching on everything and go through these babies like hot cakes. ;-)
OK, I looked at the site and I personally am not interested in the regular colors, but I find the silver gel pen and the set of silver metallic pens intriguing. Now if they only had gold and copper and maybe a very vanilla . . .
I personally support my demo as well, I just wanted to pass on that I found them. These are not the same pens you buy in walmart or target, these are the pens that are used for faux stitiching. Trust me, I have tried about 20 different white pens/gel pens/paint pens over the last few years, and this one is the best. The white sits above the paper rather then getting absorbed into the paper.
Glad everyone wants to support thier demo, I am just passing on that I found them.
Have a great day.

signo does sell at walmart I have purchased them there, and also at walgreens.... seen them there, bought them there, and used them with the same result ( sitting on the paper not absorbing in )
Not arguing, support your demo , By all means....
SU gets a price from the manufacturer, and that is what they offer. Same as CTMH with the liquid applique ( joann's sells this also ) they get what they get, for a resonible price. Some places get a better deal for numerous reasons, and have sales etc, their prices may change, but SU is the same for the catty year, and usually doesnt change if it is continued to the following catty.

walmart etc does sell other pens as well that are not the same.... ( jelly rolls for example, which are not great but work in a pinch )
I also saw signo's at joanns and micheals

Where can I find my favorite uni-ball pen?
uni-ball pens can be found at most office supply stores, office super stores, discount, drug and grocery stores and almost anywhere writing instruments are sold. Or, you can contact our Consumer Service at 1-800-323-0749.
i did find 8 packs on office depots site, and says can be purchased in their stores as well

i agree support your demo, and to be honest the price SU offers is not unreasonable, yes it can be bought elsewhere, but at least through your demo it is a guarenteed item in your hands, rather than stalking the stores for them.
I wish SU would offer more than the white, but they get what they get honestly.
Faux stitching has become popular and this is why SU has them, Yes you can purchase them elsewhere, but still going to cost about the same if not a little more.

Does anyone know if the other colors of the Signo pens are opaque on dark paper? I see in an above post that the neon ones are opaque on dark paper... I'm curious about the other colors. I like the Sakura Glaze/Souffle pens, but I'd love an option that dries quickly like the Signo white pen does.

Thanks Lisa!!! Even though everyone is saying they support their demo, I for one am thankful that you posted this. I will always buy from SU and will always support my demo, but that doesn't mean I have to buy something from SU that I can get at a better price somewhere else. That just leaves me more $ for the SU rubber that I can't get anywhere else! So, thanks Lisa - I appreciate the info.

Those are not the same pens as the white one SU sells. The Signo is much fatter and has Japanese writing in it. I have never seen one at a store anywhere.
However the one posted in the OP is the same pen that SU sells. It looks like everything on the site is of Japanese origin.
Okay, just had to share - I currently live in China, so I normally can't find most of the cool gadgets/accessories you ladies are using. However, I'm on a business trip in Thailand this week, and I found these Signo white gel pens for the equivalent of $1 US each!!!! Woohoo!!!
Just to keep you all posted on this. I was at target tonight and saw a 3 pack of signo pens, there was white, gold and silver in a pack, for like $3.99, so I got them, they are much thinner then the other ones I have gotten before. So, compared the white in the 3 pack to the white I have from SU and the one shown on the website I gave above. First, the SU one and the one on the website are much fatter, and have Japanese writing on them. The one from Target does not have any Japanese writing on them but say they are made in Japan.
Now, to test them out on paper. Got out a sheet of black SU paper, and did a -.- line patter across the paper with each pen. The SU one (also the one sold on the website listed above), stands out much more. The line that it draws is also fatter. the one at target is a white, but it seems to sink into the paper more then the SU one. I am going to check them again in the morning and will post the results then too. Hope this helps everyone
