Finding MEGA SIZED PAPER CLIPS

I know that everyone has been making these decorated paper clips for some time now, but I am always the one that lags behind when discovering something I would like to do.
I can't seem to find the paper clips to make these. Maybe I am not looking in the right store, or perhaps the right "aisle ".....

Any suggestions as to where I can purchase these large paper clips ( or the size that everyone is using now. My fromer UPLINE made some a couple of years ago, and I think she said she got them at "Michaels" not sure.......

One more thing, what's the going price for these paper clips ?

I have found them at office supply stores. I have even seen them at Big Lots and Dollar Tree on occasion. They are colored not the pretty brass ones though

Bonnie Thanks.....I am going out to a couple of stores today, and will stop at a couple of OFFICE SUPPLY stores in my area to see if they have them.

I found them at Staples and at Walmart in the office supply stuff (colored ones).

I haven't seen them at Walmart......We have a Dollar Tree not too far from my home ( 3-4 miles ) and might check it out there.....

I purchase WHITE CARD STOCK at WalMart and it is NICE CARD STOCK, made by Georgia /Pacific. IT is also sold at SAM's CLUB too ( the same paper ) The only different is that at Sam's Club you get 500 sheets in the pack, and at WalMart you get 250 sheets in a pack....IT IS the same paper....only different amounts. Also, the paper Pack at Sam's Club is Lime Green and the cello pack at Walmart isn't ......

I make a lot of cards weekly ( 50-75 cards....and just can't see spending $8.50 for 40 sheets when I can buy 250 sheets for $5.97. OF course when I make special cards etc. I make them with the Whisper White CS from SU!

Thanks gals, I am going to have to check the Dollar Stores out.......We don't have a STAPLES in town, and I can't seem to find the right paper clip online. IF ANYONE has ordered these clips online thru Staples ( or any other store ) Would you please send me the item no# and what ONLINE store you bought the paper clips from.

wal mart had the best ones. they no longer carry them, i think they discontinued them about a year or so ago. I have never found any that are as good.

Staples currently has them in gold, in stock, I have not seen the silver one lately...

I think they must be .20 cents a piece. I will have to check. I have quite a few and would be happy to sell you some. Let me know if you are interested.
