MORNING! it is HOT! HOT! HOT! here.
summer is finally making an appearance and we are having a heat wave .
(yeah she lamely cheered).
i HATE heat, humidity and anything
that makes me sweat.
i like summer, just not the heat waves.
so i stay inside and make cards
here are my FAVORITES this week:
Another week gone in the blink of an eye... yikes! And I know I sound like a broken record but I had limited time in the gallery again this week. School starts for my boys in 3 weeks so I know my gallery time will be much much better then ;)
Walks in shakes head and sits down.. looks at Janice* uhm you sure it is Sunday again? I don't recall Monday thru Saturday ever happening.. erm oh wait ya I do.. I seem to recall my grumpy boss screaming daily.. sheesh no wonder I walk in a fog lately *hits side of head to shake out the fogginess* (is that even a word?? *shrugs)
Seems since the beginning of July I've walked in a fog and it is almost the end of August.. too much going on I s'pose!!
Hey Janice, erm come to South Florida we don't have heat waves :twisted: You can just enjoy the uhm uhm nice cool breeze we have always :rolleyes:
I've only 3 again this week.. talk about not being here.. when I'm online I go do my literati game and that is only one or two games then I go to bed so REALLY no time in SCS.. for shame!!!
Well that's done.. took me no time at all! LOL Man I so need to get back into the swing of SCS... erm I mean life.. yeah life!! *walks out shaking head..waving to all and saying* Have a good safe week everyone.. see ya like tomorrow cuz it will be Sunday before you know it again!!
I know what you mean about the heat. I used to love it - roasting for hours at the beach. Now uugh hate it, go out side and feel like you are going to combust! What's with that?
I have two this week, both are from the fan club - not that they all aren't excellent but I really like these:
Yep it's hard to believe it's the middle of August already and all the kiddos will be starting school soon!! Yikes! I TRY not to complain about the heat because I know what will be coming in a few months, the older I get the more I hate winter... All in all our summer here has been beautiful!
Hey! Hey! I made it to this thread on Sunday ... instead of my usual "other day of the week"! Woooohoooooooooo!! (It just doesn't take much to make me happy .... ) ;)
Check out these delightful gallery additions when you get a chance ... You'll be glad you did!
It was mostly grey and cloudy here all week - not conducive to trying to get photos with shadows for the photo challenge! But with my PC more or less behaving itself, I had more time both to craft and browse, and have the grand (for me) total of 4 to share.
I loved the humour in DandI93'sUpisde Down sketch challenge card.
How cute is that little bow Julie Bug used on the elephant in 1st Birthday girl
And last but definitely not least, Mutnik's All Who Wander from the IC challenge yesterday. I love this card. I don't think I'd like to be lost in that wood if I was as small as the hen, but it's a darling card.

Thanks, Sabrina for mentioning my thanksgiving wreath. I was just playing around with my stamps that day and almost made this too big for a card!! I thought it might give others some additional options in ways to use that stamp set. I'm glad you liked it.

Oh, excitement always gets the best of me! I should at least read all the way through before leaving all these comments. BUT, Bev, it was so sweet of you to mention my card. Wow, what a fabulous way to end the week with some shouts out on my cards!
