Thanks!!!

I have some River City Stamps that have some fun sayings to them!
"If you have nothing good to say about anyone, come sit by me"
"We've been through a lot together, and most of it was your fault."
"Friends don't give friends fruitcakes"
"Normally I wear a size 12 dress, but a size 14 feels so good, that I buy a size 16."
Our friendship is strong enough to withstand flood, fire, pestilence...chocolate shortages...um maybe.
It's been a rough week...
I really need someone to go the mall with me,
shop for hours, and force me to eat at least
one whole hot fudge sundae all by myself...

Women have a passion for mathematics. They divide their age in half, double the price of their clothes, and always add at least five years to the age of their best friend.
I have a couple of other ones but they are kinda on the 'racy' side, and since I don't know your friend I don't know if she'd see the humor in them!
I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.

What a wretched lot of old shrivelled creatures we shall be by-and-by. Never mind--the uglier we get in the eyes of others, the lovelier we shall be to each other; that has always been my firm faith about friendship.

Wow! Why didn't I think to ask here for friendship quotes when I was working on a book for my best girlfriend? LOL
Here are a few that I like (with apologies if they've already been posted!):
"Friendship is one of the sweetest joys of life. Many might have failed beneath the bitterness of their trial had they not found a friend." (Charles H. Spurgeon)
"I don't need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better." (Plutarch)
"The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves." (Victor Hugo)
"I have friends in overalls whose friendship I would not swap for the favor of the kings of the world." (Thomas A. Edison)
"Friends are the family we choose for ourselves." (Edna Buchanan)
"It seems to me that trying to live without friends is like milking a bear to get cream for your morning coffee. It is a whole lot of trouble and then not worth much after you get it." (Zora Neale Hurston)
"No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth." (Robert Southey)
"The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart." (Elisabeth Foley)
