Since I started asking questions.....here is another one. Which is your favorite color right now, or color combo.
I don't know what is going on but right now I am using black CS like crazy. I love black with more mustard....or black with any kind of pink. Like my friend Jenn always says. That looks very Jackie O. like. I like that.
For some reason-I have just started using the greens from the soft subtles and mixing them with Navy-especially Mellow Moss. I am so not a green person-but keep going back to it!
I also think black makes everything pop-I also love it with pink, and will now think of Jackie O. when I pull it out!
Black and pinks, for sure! I love bold, bright colors (green galore and pink passion with a little bit of tempting turquoise, for sure). . . but I have to agree with you on anything with black. Basic Black, Close to Cocoa, and Night of Navy are great neutral colors that look wonderful with near everything. Just my favorites. . . today. Ask me again, and I'll probably give you a different answer!

My very favorite color combo is perfect plum and mellow moss, they are so pretty together. I also like for a more "manly" combo is the kraft paper and night of navy.
I am with you on the black cardstock..I love it with red, the various pinks, turquoise, there are so many combinations....I love bold, bright colors...it is so cheerful..especially in the winter.
I like to tell customers that I have more than one favorite, which of my 48 favorites is theirs?
For birthday cards, I seem be hung up on Tempting Turquoise with Positively Pink and Yoyo Yellow. It's just the perfect Happy Birthday combination!
Otherwise, lately I really have been enjoying Ballet Blue/Real Red/More Mustard with a touch of black. For a more antique look, Not Quite Navy/Ruby Red/More Mustard.
And for Valentines, Marvellous Magenta/Pink Passion/Basic Black.
I also really like Almost Amethyst/Blush Blossom/Pretty in Pink.
For cards with a fishy theme Mint Melody/Bliss Blue/Tempting Turquoise.
From the color wheel, I tried this combo: Ballet Blue, Barely Banana, and Only Orange. Very cheerful without being brash! Loved it with the smorgasborders flower stamp.

When I first started, I couldn't get enough of Boroque Burgundy and Night of Navy. This is a good combination for a masculine card. I also was intimidated by the Bold Brights. But now I am finding the courage to try just about anything. This forum is a great place to get inspiration for various combinations to try.
