Years ago, a nice stamper/crafter named Bonnie was kind enough to allow me to take part in making "fat books". She would choose a theme for the month, and open the subject up to whoever was interested in joining in, closing the number at 12. People from all over made wonderful 6 x 6 cards, the same for each person, and sent them to Bonnie, who distributed them in SASE's so they could be made into "fat books". They were fabulous, all so different, and I have all the ones I put together years ago (and still love!). Denise (card crazy) and I have decided we want to resurrect this. If you have an interest in joining us, we need 10 more people, and you can PM me with your name.
P.S. It was never mandatory, and sometimes people skipped a month for whatever reason.

Thought I should show some of the pages of a fat book I put together, the theme was florals (remember, this was YEARS ago.) Pictures are sure more descriptive.

Leigh Anne, just the front. And the number would depend on how many signed up to do it. And don't forget to save one for yourself too. That would complete the book. Would love to have you.

Several years ago I participated in a similar swap. We made "Tip-In" books. We specified the size of our pages (these varied because we used real books for the base) and our theme. Each month we were assigned a partner. We'd make a page to that person's specs (size and theme) and send them the page to "Tip" into their book. My theme was "Faeries" and the size of the pages was 6X7. If I remember correctly, I found the book at a Dollar Tree and it was a small cookbook. This was such a fun exercise! I'll try to add photos. Sorry they all posted sideways, lol!

Reason: Explanation of orientation of photos
Interested, yes, but I can't commit to making 11 "pages". I'll be traveling (a graduation and a memorial service) off and on starting in a couple of weeks so I don't want to commit to something and not be able to satisfy the commitment. Thanks for asking.
