Default Extremely confused with the DIY/Just Rite Monogram stamps

Ok I am sooo confused right now about what handle to use with each border. I have a couple of dilemna's. The first one is that I just placed my first order this morning and now am doubting that I got the right handle for the other borders that I ordered. The second is that I want to pre-order some of the new borders and they have the sizes in the description but I don't know if I can use them with the handle that I ordered? So in a nutshell here is the info I need.

1. I ordered a the Curlz fonts with the fun borders set. This comes with a mount for the borders and letters. This is the only thing I ordered with a HANLDE. The other things I ordered to go with it were the damask and library of borders. Will they work with the handle from the Curlz fonts set that I ordered?
2. I want to pre-order some of the new borders not available until September. What handles do I order or can I use what I have. I want to order the new baking, wedding and possible one of the new Ovals sets.

Sorry for this being so long but I really need som clarification. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks!

Theresa

Theresa,
How is the baby? I haven't talked to you in so long. All the C45 products should work together. I have a whole bunch of the Just Rite stamper stuff at my house. If you want we can get together and play.

Hi Cora! Emily is doing well. She is now 18 months old and getting into everything Do you know what size the C-45 circle stamp is? Might give me an idea as to whether or not I can use the one I ordered for the new pre-ordered borders?

I love JustRite monograms and I'm having trouble keeping up what goes with what etc... I think I might go to their site and make a chart with their information - I can see it easier that way!

Hi Theresa,

Here are the answers to your questions.

1. Yes, the Damask border and the Library/Desk/Kitchen borders will all work with the Curlz Kit that you purchased. All of these items are 1 5/8 which also work with the self inking stamper.

2. The new Wedding Ensemble set will also fit the wooden block from the Curlz Kit. As far as the other items go...the Baking set will need a larger wood block the 2 5/16 here http://www.justritestampers.com/Prod...uctid=JB-08116 and the Oval sets will also need a wood block depending on which set you would like...there are two oval sizes. You can find the Oval blocks listed here http://www.justritestampers.com/cate...categoryID=145

Hope that helps answer your questions. Please PM me if you think of anything else.

So what about the small letters? Can you make customized borders with a wooden handle or do you need the stamper? I too am confused and I'm not sure what to get....If it wasn't for the new pink one coming out I might have already bought the whole set. I was thinking of getting a smaller set until the new one gets released. All the posts about the stamper are really enticing, especially with Christmas just around the corner. And can you use stampin up ink pads with these?

I'm pretty certain you can make customized borders on any of their circle or oval blocks.

The letters should fit in the channel the same as the borders - I think that is what is so appealling about JustRite products for me is that you have the borders but you can customize and it all aligns.

I'm in the process of sorting out an order of my "needs"

My big question is storage if you choose to get the dry pads what do they store in? do they come in a case? are they stackable? There is information on the site about everything else except this.

At this time, the stamp pads come with a clear lid but there is no storage container available. That doesn't mean there won't be one in the future. Product Development is aware of the storage requests from customers and is working on it.

OMG I just want to say I got mine and took it out today. I LOVE IT!
Stamped the clearest image in a few stamps... I used a magazine for padding... This is going to be fantastic.
I just wish the holiday stuff could be used with the c-45 stamps.

Do you need the C-45 if you are getting the DIY Curlz or Elegant Kits?

Thanks!

No those kits come with a wooden block instead of the self inking stamper.

I ordered mine yesterday - The DIY Elegant Font set and the DIY one letter Damask Set, and the Damask Borders. Today, I went back to look at them and realized the borders were the same ones as in the kit! I feel like such an idiot that I didn't notice that when I ordered! Anyhow, I sent an e-mail to them to see if I can cancel the extra set of borders before they ship. I hope it's possible. I'm so upset with myself! :(

I ordered mine last week, should be here anyday now. I ordered the DIY Kit Special Occasions, the Damask Borders and the small letters. After I get these then I will probably figure out what else to get. Thought I would start out small, only $27. Now I have to figure out if I can use the SU stamp pads, that is all I have.
