Question envelopes

When making cards which kind of envelopes do you get? I am having trouble finding nice ones that don't already come with the card stock cards. What size do you usually buy? Is there anywhere to purchase that is good?
Thanks!

I remember buying some at Wal-mart! They were in with the regular envelopes by the office supplies. I can't speak for them still being there because I'm in Japan now and have no wal-mart! But that's where I got mine for awhile

I purchase Invitation Envelopes from Staples.

(If you click on the words Invitation Envelope above, it will take you to the Staples website.)

This is my 2nd posting, I am new here and thought I come to visit. Good information on this board.
I like to use A2 envelopes, this fits the 5 1/2 " x 4 1/4" size cards. I hope that helps.

All the cards I make are 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" so I too use invitation envelopes, only I get mine from office depot.

I get the Medium envelopes from SU. They are heavy duty and very nice. 40 of them for $6.50(at least in the old catty).

I get my envelopes from Stampin' Up! I always like to stamp an image on the corner of the envelope and these are of a great quality to do so.

Since I don't shop at Wal-Mart I cannot speak for the quality of what they offer.

I do buy the cheap-o invitation-size (at office supply stores) for my $1 card workshops.

The quality of the Stampin'Up envelopes is sooooo much better that I feel obligated to provide them at my higher priced workshops. Everyone always comments on the difference in weight and feel. They also accept ink beautifully if you want to decorate them.

HTH.

Default envelopes

For great quality envelopes (invitation size) I go to the local printer in my town and buy through him. Very reasonably priced @.04-.06 cents ea.

Love this forum!
