Default Easter crafts needed

I'm looking for Easter crafts that can be done with Alzheimer's clients. I do crafts with residents at a long term care nursing home as well as a day program with peoplr with Alzheimers.

Flower pot templates, cards, ect, I'm drawing a blank. Any help would be greatly appreciate.:p

I used to teach at an assisted living and learned what NOT to do - bow tying is hard - small details are tough.

One layer cards they could watercolor (pre stamped) were the biggest hits. Many of my men & women had so much painting and watercolor experience that was a breeze for them, but the fine motor skills were tough.

Bless you for that, BTW. Truly.

I can't come up with any ideas at the moment, but I want to thank you for what you are doing. My grandmother was in an Alzheimers facility which was the most amazing place ever! They took such good care of her and they did a daily craft even if it was crayons and paper. Some of the residents can't do anything more complicated that that because they are too advanced with the disease.

I have taught at several facilities with assisted living and Alzheimer's patients. The best thing to do is to keep the cards simple, not much layering...one layer cards are good. Also be prepared to give very individual attention to the Alzheiner's patients. They will not be able to remember any steps. Other than that I have let them stamp and color, and even use glitter. Sometimes, we heat emboss...I handle the heat gun. Keep your classes smaller and be prepared to run around the table ...ALOT!!!! And also be prepared for all the hugs they give you...each time you come back!
