How many of you make and send out/give Easter cards? I am wondering how many cards I need to make for the flower shop I consign at.. I've dropped of 6, but I don't know if I should make more? I don't want to be stuck with a lot of leftovers...
I myself make a card for my Grandma (she's a very strict Catholic and this holiday means a lot to her) and I'm making a card for my friend who's hosting an Easter dinner, and that's kind of it!
I work in my LSS and we have NO easter stamps, literally one or two easter/bunny papers and no embellishments... Is how it is everywhere?

I make Easter cards and have sent out 6-7. If I had time, I would make a lot more to send out.

I send out about seven or eight Easter cards -- but I make over 50. My sister and I make cards for the residents of the assisted living facility where my mom lives -- 90 residents.
I just mailed 14. All but one of these are to people who celebrate Easter as a religious holiday. Most of them went to family that live far away from me. Don't know if that helps at all.
I made 5 for myself and three for a co-worker. If your grandma is religious, you can use a cross stamp for the front. Even flowers (Spring). I learned that as my late m-i-law was offended when I sent her a peep card that said "to one of my favorite peeps"...She asked why I was mad at her..ugh..I was confused, but then realized what she wanted was a religious card for it is a holy day.. My mistake. Now, I ask my friends and co-workers when I make cards if they want a religious or not card.
I make them. This year I was short on time, so I only made 6. Usually I make 10-12 for family and friends. The past several years I also made 15-20 for shut-ins from my church.
Far and away Christmas is the holiday I send out the most cards. But I usually send out Valentines Day, Easter and Halloween cards to 8-12 family and friends, depending on how much time I have.
This year I made 6 for family. Some years I make more and send them to friends. Ran out of time this year. :( Spring-ish, non religious type cards, btw.
I usually make Easter cards for my mother and mil - but this year, just didn't have the time.
I intended to make cards for not only my family but also my stamp group because who appreciates a card more than a stamper? Just didn't get to it.
yes, i send about 10-12.....some hand delivered in my neighborhood to folks who actually look forward to getting one !! a have a few friends that save them and put them out for whatever holiday is happening...very flattering...also sell a few in a local gift shop and to friends who send cards.
then i mail to friends/family out of town...i think it sends a message that i am thinking of them. plus, i really have fun making them...each different at least in a minor way.
the fun of opening mail other than junk or bills is my little way of putting smiles out there.
I usually make a lot of Easter and all cards in general so I have some to send family and friends but also for churches I support and troops box. This year I have not made so many cards as I am recovering from a major surgery and just can't sit that long...maybe one of these days I will feel good enough to get back at making a lot of cards again. OH...it has not deterred my buying...I am so thankful for internet shipping...lol
blessings.
I made a bunch last year for the store I consign at and they ended up not needing them...so I only made one this year for a DT commitment and just sent my "last year's" stock myself to family and friends. We generally only get 1 or 2 each year, and those are mailed to my son.
In the past I have made Easter/spring themed cards but didn't this year. (I'm on a stamping hiatus). I do love Easter stamps, religious and non-religious.
