Hi' I'm pretty new on here but I would love a little feedback. I have done a lot of drawings which I am considering having made into stamps to sell and would love to know what you think of them.~My blog is http://apassionforcards.blogspot.com
Thanks very much for your time, Ruth
I am not sure exactly which images you mean, as I only saw a couple. But I loved the ones I saw. Definitely worth the effort I think. Is there a link where the images are all together. I was looking at some cards and just assumed they were the images you were talking about. i really do like the ones I saw.
Very nice drawings. Looks like you got three different styles going on. Nothing wrong with that but it might be easier to concentrate on one style....cute, detailed or sophisticated..so your work will be more easily recognizeable. Just a thought.
I think your cat and dogs are adorable! I also particularly liked the orchid. I didn't care for the cutesy girls, but not because I didn't like your drawings, just because they aren't my style. I did like the stylish woman wearing the dress, though.

Hi, Thanks for your comments.I have now uploaded the images into a slideshow on my blog. Thanks for looking, Ruth

Yes, I do have a few different styles going on but that is deliberate! I am trying to appeal to different tastes. I actually have these divided into groups and have a collection of images in each group. I'm just unsure which ones would be more usable, Ruth

That's a hard call. I can see your point. There's another thread on here with people talking about what stamps they DON'T like and it's all over the board...cute, collage type, detailed florals, anthropomorphic animals....so while trying to be all inclusive you run the risks of putting people off by some of the styles. I guess they don't have to but the ones they don't like..lol.
The slide show is great - thank you for providing that. I still like the girl in the black-patterned dress best of all and think images of her would be popular. I did like your floral images as well. Oh, and the boy with the dog - great one.
Thanks for the slide show. I like them ALL. Me, being me, of course I like the dogs the best. I dont usually care for some of the children's stamps I've seen, but yours are cute, but not tooooo cute. Good luck.
Your sketches are very sweet. I especially like the animal and flower ones! Have you considered making them into Digital Stamps? I've really been getting into them and think they're great for illustrators just getting started. You can find some examples at Digital Stamp Oasis, Dustin Pike, or The Greeting Farm (among many others).

Thanks very much everyone. That's great encouragement ..I wasn't sure that anyone here actually liked my stuff as I've been putting cards in my gallery and getting no comments! Ruth
