 This is a photo of Tilda Picking Lilacs stamp that I stamped and colored yesterday. After I finished I noticed that there is a dot where her mouth would be. I don't see this dot on any photos of this stamp on the internet. It's not a stray mark either, I checked the stamp and there is clearly a dot at that location on the stamp. Does it look strange? And if so I'm not sure what I could do about it. I've had this stamp for a few months and never noticed before. I just thought it was weird.:o What do you think? Defect or this is the way it is supposed to be?
I just checked my stamp and it doesn't have a dot in that spot so I would have to say that it is a defect in your stamp. I agree with Lydia, I would just cut the dot off of the stamp if you don't like it there.
I had just finished my latest Magnolia masterpiece, laboriously colored (I'm not very good), and extensively layered. My 5yods came over to admire it, and after looking at it for just a second he said, "Hand me a marker." I KNEW he planned to draw in a mouth, of course! (I didn't let him!)
One and only one time I sent a magnolia card out to my mom. She loved it. While talking to her about an up coming visit, I said I was bringing some stamped images to color during down time. It was winter time visit. She asked me to bring some supplies to make a mouth for the little girl card I made her.lol
Needless to say I do not send magnolia cards to non stamping friends or family. They just don't understand the mouth thing. To tell the truth I don't get the mouth thing, but they sure are cute!

Tilda is an angel, she speaks with her heart, no need for a mouth or so the story goes.

That is sweet - I had never heard that before. But that explains the wings on the back of the Summer Sitting Tilda. i thought it was a backpack.:oops:
