I do!!
I just had to say that! I've been putting together a little notebook cataloging each of my stamp sets. I'm not quite halfway through. But the more I stamp, the more I'm like, "I forgot I had that! Awesome!!"
I'm SO glad I'm doing this! I think it will make it much easier to see what I have (and don't have!) And grateful!
Yes, I do, and got rid of the ones I didn't love. (Made room for new loved ones!)

Sure do Many of them just make me happy when I look at them (Always, Blooming with Love, Doodle This, and Toucan of My Love, particularly). Toucan of My Love ... still makes me laugh.
Hi!
Yep, if I didn't, I wouldn't have so many. Granted some I love more than others, but all have their uses. Sometimes sets have images I never thought I'd use, or I've been given stamps and wonder "what were they thinking?" Over time though, I've found a use for 90% of my images. I have close to 7,000 images so some are still waiting to shine.
Yep...if I don't LOVE them, they are outta here...
For instance I ended up with 3 fishing sets, and only ever use ONE, the other two are sold. There is no reason to keep some that I SHOULD use, only ones that I LOVE to use.

I love most of mine but I've been doing some inventory myself (realizing I need to do the "indexing" thing with my mine) and finding some sets I just know I'm not going to use, not my style, etc. I've always found it hard to get rid of a set because you just never know when you'll see a card made with it you like but..........I'm coming to the reality that, that will always be the case. I'm likely to always find a card I like and not have that set to make it just like it but I do have sets I can adapt it to and I'm liking that even more because then it really becomes ALL my own instead.
I do hate when a cute set doesn't work out for me though...... :(
I do know that I weeded out those I didn't LOVE. I feel so much better knowing that the stamps I have are ones that I really want to use.
I have two boxes ready to sell - non-SU for when I ever have the time to list them; and SU, a lot waiting to be retired so they are sellable here.
It takes awhile to find what really "clicks" for you ~ but once you do, the joy of stamping is tripled, IMHO!! My plan is only to shop less than a half dozen online stores now . . . and as for the others? Don't. Look. It's the only way I can keep from repeating past "mistakes." (Can hardly bare to call a stamp a mistake LOL!!)
I love most of my stamps and absolutely adore everything I bought in the last 6-8 months, once I finally learned how to choose stamps that were not only cute, but also that I could continue to by inspired by. Those first 6 months were and expensive learning curve, though.
I know what you mean, Erin. I just indexed all my stamps the beginning of this month, and I found so many of them that, while I hadn't forgot I had them, I had forgotten why I had bought them. They were so cute. I'm like 'why don't I use this?'. It was like buying a whole bunch of new sets!

I do the same thing. I don't have room for stamps that I don't absolutly love. I give the ones I don't love as much to other family members who stamp or let my kids use them for their crafts. I want my kids to keep their hands off my nice stuff. If they have some "nice stuff like Mama's" then they get into mine less. :-D
