How are the Dirty Dozen chosen? I've looked for the 'criteria' and can't find anything to tell me. I just wonder how SCS 'finds' them. This is one of those things I've wondered about for months now! LOL!

Actually the "terms of use and important stuff" is found on the main FORUM page, not the home page. Click on that and there are 4 threads, one of which is "how are the dirty dozen designers selected"
Let me just say that getting a call from Lydia asking you to be on the Dirty Dozen is one of the most exciting things ever! To me one of the most important things is to be active on SCS. Play a challenge here and there, or join in on VSN, pop in the forums, support the current Dirty Dozen by visiting the fan club gallery and commenting on their beautiful creations. Plus all the other stuff JulieHRR said in the Dirty Dozen forum page.

I was one of the last to get "THE e-mail" from JulieHRR. That was the single most exciting thing that has happened in my crafting experience. I love this site and the members here, so being invited to the DD was an HUGE honor!
