Die Cut sandwiches! tuna anyone?

Ladies and Gents, I have been gifted a SU Sizzix Texturz Plate (embossing Plate), and my Gemini Jr is not making a good impression (I know, I know...I couldn't resist!)

Does anyone know the Perfect SAMMY? Much appreciate the help!

I still have quite a few of these, and still use them in my BigShot. The recommended sandwich is:
Multipurpose Platform, on Tab 1
Texturz Plate
Paper
Silicone Mat
Impressions Pad

Sometimes I need to add a shim. Maybe this helps.

I tried this when I first bought my Gemini Jr. I didn't get it figured out, but admittedly didn't try too hard. lol

The rubber mat (embossing mat) is likely an important part of your puzzle. Sorry to not be much help.

I used to use mine all the time when I had my Cuttlebug. Now that I have a Big Shot Foldaway, I haven't been able to get a good impression. Anyone have the sandwich I need? The plates are not the same as either the Cuttlebug or the regular Big Shot and the instructions that came with it were only for Sizzix products.

I looked and have Kits 1-4 which totals 30 of these plates and I rarely if ever use them.
I'm gonna try your sammich. And I have the same directions but this is a nudge to actually use them.
I do remember using the hearts plate once and it looked really good, so I must have used those directions....so it must work! LOL
