If I carefully center my die cut circles, ovals, and labels on the cardstock, I am left with a die cut negative. Can you show me examples of using these die cut negatives?
As well as using them as masks/stencils, you could fix acetate behind them, and use them to make shaker cards.
Also, they could become a frame for a stamped image on another sheet of cardstock.
I have used the "centered" negative" to line up the next card.
I put the die in the "centered negative" on top the my cardstock the cut the next piece.
Works great.
I also use the centered negative by putting DSP under it or a piece of paper with washi tape on it behind the centered negative.
the centered die cut, if it was large enough, would be a great Iris Fold Card Base. That is what I have done, in the past, with the ones that I could use and it works well. patty
The negative word dies are great to use. I trim them down to the size I need and put them on other cards as the sentiment. I also like to use a piece of paper ( not a print) that is interesting and makes the negative die stand out. Often I pop up the negative from the die to make it more dimensional.
