I think I better get away from the computer. The more pictures I see, the more excited I get and I'm giving myself a stomachache. Isn't that pathetic? I was seriously thinking about giving up my demoship and now I feel like Michael Corleone "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in".

DH just came home to pick up a "forgotten" project for work and handed the kids four bags of entertainment from Walmart. (Gosh, was yesterday that bad? I was only attached to this laptop for like 10 hours!!) Gotta love him for that. Yep, he said he is expecting some lovin' inbtween cattys..teehee!!
Hmm what if I say today's my Bday too would that make someone at the Convention be so kind and get me a Tote????? Ok its not till November but its still close No?? lol

I totally know what you mean---all this fabulous new goodies & the changes to the demo locator/website...make me even more anxious to get the new catty in my trembling hands! I think I am actually salivating more at the thought of the new catty than I am about new school supplies---YES...I am a dork! I LOVE the back-to-school season. My heart starts racing & my hands start to twitch & I feel the NEED to get to the store to touch all those new binders, folders, etc.---It's a sickness...HOWEVER, the sneek peeks of the new catalog are killing me more. I can't control myself---I NEED MY CATALOG!
lol ellie.......does anyone have shelli's cell phone number? We can call her and ask her to send Ellie a tote!! Autographed no less. Wish I could drive up there and get you one. I thought someone was working on finding someone to get you one....did that fall through?

ME TOO!! I love it!! I love to go into Target and get new supplies! Sure its not for me but for my sons but still there is nothing like a new pack of PENS (ok I get stuff for me too I can't help it.... this year they will be a "Business" expense! HA!!! )

too stinkin funny! my bf is EXACTLY the same way! she's 28 and back to school is her favorite time of year. she has to cruise the school supplies every time she enters a store!!
Woo hoo! I resisted the pull of this thread just long enough to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies, empty the dishwasher, turn the washer back on since I forgot to transfer laundry yesterday, clean out the junk doors in kitchen island and find something for the 3 kids to do....lol
now i'm in my office so at least I can be sucked in and pretend I'm working...

You should come up for the MI mingle in the spring. That is in Bay City. So about another 30 minutes to an hour for you maybe. Lots of stampers in one room! Lots of fun!
well, someone on the bay already has the tote, camera case and purse key finder up for bids. And they are high. All I can say is I hope they are available after convention so the buyers will feel like twits!
Ok, I haven't kept up with all the chatter today because I actually had to do some work at work this week (darn job!). So I'm sorry it this has already been said. But I hope that the announcement that all sets will be die cut in the Spring Summer cattie does not mean that everything that was not new this time around will retire before then, since they are only die-cutting new stuff.
There is going to be a mini mingle in Lansing this fall.
When this fall? I don't get over to the MI Mingle chat very often. Lansing is "home" for me so I could go pretty much expense free with free daycare on top of that. And it's only an hour away.

I wouldn't assume so-- I think it's just that the investment and machinery takes time-- so for the F/W catty, they focussed on just the new sets, and so now they can start in on the older sets for the next catty.
I think that sucks! I orginially was going to say "report that demo" because it just isn't fair, but then I remembered that non-demos were allowed to attend this year---BUT---did THEY get the same check-in items (bags, stamp sets, etc.) as the demos? At any rate, even though I am jealous as all of those at the convention & all the goodies they are getting---I am happy for them too---it just makes me mad, irritated, UGH...knowing that items from the convention are already on ebay & it is only day 2---Shame on them!!!
