I don't have any kind of bug or any of those things, but I am sooooooo in love with the swiss dots cb folder. Also the nestabilities. I am sooooo hoping that creative keepsakes was right and we're getting a big shot, as long as we can use these things with it. I think my son owes me about 3 yrs worth of bday and christmas presents hehehe

We live in Oklahoma now...and were stationed here before. When I lived here before I thought OU fans were insane. Then I moved to Montgomery. I swear that on game day, our street turned blue and orange and the guy next door had a huge blow up tiger he'd put out.
Our very southern neighbors across the street actually told us upon meeting them..."We'll get along wonderfully, just as long as ya'll aren't Bama fans."
Auburn fans put Sooner fans to shame...orange, orange shame.

After general session I think there are classes, make n takes, presentations on new products, this is based on past experience. So I don't know how much "news" will come out then.
'k. Kids are packing and bringing boxes down. Truck is on the way. DH is NOT allowed to pack the computer until the last minute. OH GOSH!!!! As if moving wasn't stressful enough!

Hahahahha... OH this is great to hear! hahaha. I guess I'm very southern like your neighbors were. I've been known to groan when I hear a friend or neighbor is an alabama fan. heehee. My neighbors and I have a "friendly" rivalry, they are bama fans and I'm an Auburn fan. During football season we both deck our houses out with our respective teams. haha. I always try to outdo them. My very orange auburn flag shows up long before their puny red flag does. ;)

How cool is that??? Someone earlier commented that Shelli's jacket on her blog (www.soshelli.com, not fully functional until aug 4th) looks like it could be some of our DSP... Maybe a small dsp line of clothes??? ;)

OHH MY GOSH.. I love my current apron but that Bella rose print is YUMMMOOO.. hmm but I wouldn't want to get it dirty.. My current SU apron is the brown on and its got lots of "LOVE" on it.. but at least it proves I've been stamping! lol... BUT still oh my... *SIGH*... BUT FIRST I WANNNNNTTT MY TOTE.. (losing my voice from saying it!... Oh wait I'm not talking I'm typing.. carry on...LOL)
I placed my order (2nd day) first thing this morning (on the East coast). I just checked order status & it says "partial." I didn't order anything on the backorder list. I wonder if they are being bombarded with catalog orders & couldn't get everything out. I hope the part that shipped is my catalog!

Not to be a pest or anything, but there hasn't been anything new on no-chatter thread for a long time. Nothing interesting going on, or is it just too hard for convention-goers to find a minute to send info? I've never experienced this before so I just don't know. I love seeing all of the new stuff and I know there are interesting announcements to hear more about!
Any new starter kit info? What will be included in the kit? What about recruitment specials for the month of August--anyone heard anything? Surely with all the cool things in the new catty & new product lines, etc. AND it being the 20th Anniversary--SU will be offering some sort of recruitment special. Hopefuly Smiles ~ Kelli
We're relying on phone calls and text messages from convention goers... It'll be quieter than the new catty thread. ;) There's not as much to tell, and what is told is only little snippets of information for now.
Haven't read the thread - someone may have already posted this info. Here are my notes from this morning:
Shelli stressed that no demos were "just" hobbyists. All demos, whether hobbyists or business-focused, are important to SU! and always will be.
Shelli is starting a blog. It will go live Monday, August 4th at 9am MT. The URL is http://www.soshelli.com
Shelli is starting a "signature collection" - items she personally loves and/or had a hand in developing. The bella rose apron available in Memento Mall is one example. Future things will also include stamp sets and accessories. First chance to buy things from her collection will be in the Holiday Mini.
SU! will partner with Country Living magazine again this year in November. It will be a similar promotion as before, but bigger and better. It will include a kit with stamps and papers. SU! will be highlighted in a 21-page spread of the December holiday edition of the magazine.
7 3M/Scotch products contain images of SU! projects - this is just one example of the types of partnerships they are building with other companies.
All sets in the Spring/Summer catalog will be die cut. ALL SETS.
The "Under the Stars" stamp set (new camping set with bear, sleeping bag, etc.) will have a promotion for a reduced price sometime in Aug (& Sept?).
Phase II Decor Elements - new colors, new designs, including 2-step wall vinyl. Some of the new designs include:
Ginormous flowers (in choc chip, pixie pink, so saffron, gable green)
Nursery Necessities (in choc chip - plus other colors TBA)
Chills & Thrills (a spooky spider) is available to convention goers Aug 1 - Aug 12 for $10.95 US. Available to everyone else in the fall.
Countdown 'til Christmas (real red, old olive)
Season of Thanks (choc chip?)
Tomorrow, SU! will announce another new product they are unveiling.

Are any of your partial orders Great Rewards? Mine is partial as well, but I got a gift card, so that has to come from somewhere else. That's why it says partial. Have fun!!

The new in-colours are not like the bold brights, IMO. They are slightly greyed, and match more with the earth elements. They don't have the clarity or brightness of the Bold Brights.
Nice to see there will be a few actual bold brights in the new DE. I've been waiting until the convention announcements about Phase II before ordering.
