The first year I participated, there were under thirty if I remember aright. Maybe about 27. And I still have two of them!! One is on the shelf in front of my desk, the one from Kittie's challenge. And I thought that was a lot to make in a week ;-).
Out of curiosity I checked - I first participated in '08, and I made 23 cards - but I think at least two were extras.
It was '09 that I made 27.
I have brown bread just out of the oven, and a Moroccan lamb tagine simmering away which will give us two dinners during the week; there are times it's handy being in an earlier time zone ;-).
Although I've made samples for some of the challenges, I haven't even looked at the details of some of the other ones so that I still get some of the fun of playing along live!
Happy stamping, everyone. Are your desks all tidy and ready for action?
Need to hustle with the morning so I am ready to start...
Need to bake cookies before I can play...neighbor boy is coming to help haul rock to fill potholes on the driveway and well...he takes cookies for part of his pay! ;)
Then there's blueberry syrup to make and blueberry jam in between thinking about cards...and making cards...then at noon go buy 10 dozen ear of corn to process this evening...in between more cards...
Full Speed Ahead...

We usually shoot for 8-ish Central time - all switches and samples and challenges are moved manually, one at a time, and sometimes the unpredictable happens. So excited for this MORNING!! Here's what my desk looked like yesterday........

Ann, you are really rockin' and rollin' with the cards today. I've never been that fast making cards.
Is anyone passing out cookies?????? If so, don't do it yet. I have to go out and purchase a new garbage disposal right now. I'll be back.

Thanks Brenda! On a mission since the later part of my week is going to be very hectic!
I am a baker/decorator and have a wedding cake to do this week! Cakes and cheesecakes for 300 guests. And my birthday tomorrow so my sons are having a birthday party for me -- 60 years old! Can't believe it!
Brenda,
Our air is cranked and the house is at 68 degrees! I have way too many allergies to not have the air running! Plus the humidity is on the rise today and tomorrow!
I'm trying to recover from an epic fail on Lydia's challenge, and my mojo was flagging before I even started :( Only two cards finished so far, and I only like one of them. *sigh* It can only get better, right?
Wow! Ann, 300 cakes and cheesecakes! The stress would be too much for me. Happy Birthday for tomorrow. Time does fly, that's for sure. I'm off to check out some more of today's cards.

Yeah, I got them all done in 3 days. I stayed up way later last night than I should have to finish but I had to get them done as I have to pack today for a work trip. I think I am going to have withdraw from my craft stash. LOL! That was a ton of fun! Thank you to all the wonderful challenge hostesses for fantastic challenges. It really pushed me to want to do some different cards from my normal and I loved the great challenges. Big hugs ladies!!!
