My Stampin' Space is actually about a third of a mostly unused bedroom -- we're empty nesters 90% of the time or until the all our grown kids and grandkids decide to come to visit at the same time. So, in addition to the queen-size bed, there's a large dresser (it holds lots of supplies) and two great closets for more "necessities". My wonderfully handy husband installed hanging cabinets and made a great sit down work space and a taller cutting counter with great shelves beneath it.
I also am fortunate to have an L-shaped computer desk for the computer and a printer, scanner, copier (all in one) machine and my Xyron Wizard. On the built-in desk that was already part of the room I have a nice TV and DVD player. I am very fortunate to have this space and really love it. I'm a night owl stamper, so it's great to be able to only go a few feet, and crash when I finally give it up. My wonderful husband is a very restless and loud snorer so we both get more sleep when I stay in the other room.
I must confess that one of the cabinets holds some munchies (for energy boosts). I've considered a small dorm size refrig, but going down to the kitchen is at least a smidgen of exercise.
This is my room and I'm going to miss it when we move...unless I'm able to have one then as well...here's hoping.

I have my computer, which is always linked to SCS while I'm stamping, radio, and of course my polar pop- love those! And I actually have a futon in my room, which is used to spread more of my stuff around, and my dog sleeps on it while I stamp! Also, if we ever have guests over, they get to stay in my room!

I also have my space in half the laundry room. I have my puppy's bed because she has to be where I am always. Candles, my fuzzy blanket(because the basement gets cold), portable dvd player with all my Friends, Will and Grace, Seinfeld and 24 DVDs, my fridge with all my Pepsi One(and sometimes wine)hee hee.

Sounds like everyone, so far, has their "own" space for stamping, and so do I!! We live in a log home with a loft, and, yes, the loft is mine!! Laptop, small relax-r chair and ottoman, Gertie's (my little dog) bed, window with a view, and, of course, I can look out over the dining and great rooms and the BIG patio doors and window's view of the pond and rolling landscape. I just had base cabinets and countertops installed for ALL my "stuff" and work areas. Gotta love it!!!

I have a radio, a big window, chocolate, and something to drink.

If I had the room of my dreams-- it would have a comfy chair, a computer and scanner (mine are downstairs) and a small frig, a TV/DVD combo.

But, I like my space now. I'm not going to complain.

What a fun thread!

Having read all the posts, I need to add a lock to my room to keep out Mistoffoleese and jtax who, it seems, are intent on stealing my liquorice stash!

I like the idea of candles, but I'm sure I'd set fire to something and I'd love a bed if the room were big enough, (perhaps a hammock strung over the desk would suffice?), but then I wouldn't get much stamping done!

I'd never have a TV in my room, as I come here to escape from it!

Have a great day everyone!

I have to agree this is a fun thread...

I have 1 of the 5 bedrooms we have...it's linked to a bathroom and my office. So the computer/printer/scanner is very close by if needed. Have candles, phone, photos, bulentin board, all my scap/stamp toys, 3 book cases pretty much full of stamps, multi organizer for all my extras, And a closet packed full of stuff. I'm in the process of reorganizing the room. Guess I should of taken a photo of before (on second thought, NOT).

I have the same thought. I had candles for awhile but always worried I would burn the house down. Considering how much paper I have, it is a total fire hazard. Decided the calming scent of the candles were not worth the risk.

I would love to have the mini-fridge in here!
I also have a heater since I am in the basement. The candle sounds like a good addition to make to my space as well. The LED light ones would be good for me to with the girls beign in there with me all the time.
Thanks for all the ideas ladies, any others?
