I'm sure you'll all notice right away ... just TWO boxes to store rubber stamps? Sorted by merely "large" and "small"?
Where are the other 398 boxes? Where are the boxes for "snowmen", "floral", "leaves", "backgrounds - small", "backgrounds - large", "backgrounds - medium", for instance?
In the paragraph under the picture Karen also says that she trys to exercise something called restraint when buying stamps. Why would someone do that? :? Isn't the goal to eventually own ALL of the stamps?
Hmmm, I saw that bit, too. I think there might be something wrong with her. Was very worried by the phrase "she resists the temptation". As Oscar Wilde once said, "I can resist anything except temptation".
Well, let me add my take on this.... Karen is a scrapbooker, and as one who is primarily a scrapbooker, you just don't need as many stamps. I'm starting to cross over into stamping a little bit more, but if I had too many stamps, I wouldn't have room for all of my paper, my embellishment tool box, my sticker binder, my photo equipment and storage....
My big thing is letter stamps... I can't get enough of those!
LOL Im a stamper and a scrapbooker ..>I was a scrapbooker first... I own like 40 sets and they WOULD NOT fit into those boxes or those catagories! LOL I just hated the whole article about getting rid of stuff! I bought it for a reason at some point or other, and I will challenge myself to use it some day too! SO THERE! LOL
I started out as a scrapbooker, but am now a stamper as well. My stamp collection is growing and taking over. I still buy lots of paper, embellishments, etc. But now I can customize my paper with my own stamps. Create those fancy background papers.
But I will have to admit, I havn't done much scrapp'n lately.

Honestly, I wasn't all that crazy about that article. I'm a scrapper, too, and I've found the best way to make room for all my stamps is to quit buying oodles of paper and use up what I have - as I'm doing that, I'm making more room for all the gotta-have SU stuff. Restraint in miscellanous paper is making me more room and saving me more money than restraint in stamps!
did you see those plastic ribbon holders on page. 126?? i looked on hancock fabrics but can't track them down. does anyone know who sells these?? they say they can be found in fabric shops. i need these for my ribbon!
