Could you leave a comment on my son's 'Batman' card??
I've never made a request like this before, but I really want to make my son's day, and I need your help. My 10-year-old son loves to be in my stamp room with me, which I love. He created a 'Batman' card, and begged me to 'show' it to everyone 'just like' I do with my cards. He's a tender-hearted little guy, and has asked, litterally every 10-20 seconds, if anyone 'likes' his card.
So, I'm appealing to all of the mothers out there, and everyone else, too, to ask you to take a look at the card he created, and possibly leave a short comment for him to read. It would mean so very much to him, and to me, if even a few of you that read this post could do this for him. (He loves everything about stamping---the stamps, inks, coloring, embellies, etc.....so, who knows.....maybe he'll be like Tim Holtz someday!! :-)
Thank you for reading my request. Have a blessed day, everyone.

Reason: typo
He did a ROCKIN' job!!! NOT a surprise, though. Apples don't fall far from their tree!!
Hope he enjoys all the comments!! My 10 yo son participated in VSN back in the fall with a card. He posted and got 56 comments--a feat he still takes HUGE pride in.
What a great card! I hear you on the asking every 10-15 seconds. My son just turned 4 and for days, literally every 10 minutes he asked me if it was time for his party!! My boys also like to *stamp* with me. So how blessed are we???

Awesome card, Gage! It is da bomb!!! Love your embellishments---the brads, silver cord and Batman emblem!
Pam, I keep trying to post a comment and for some reason it's not working?! I've don't recall having this happen before. Please show him above quote! Angela
From the bottom of my heart, I want to say 'thank you', and send huge hugs, to everyone that has posted a comment on my son's card. Gage spent the entire evening running back and forth to the computer, screaming out 'hey, someone else said they liked my card!' and 'I've got 40-50-60 comments Mom!'.
I can't begin to describe the excitement and pride he felt all night, and the huge (HUGE) smile on his face the entire evening. In fact, he started to nod off in front of the computer, and I had to pry him out of the chair to get him to go upstairs to bed! I promised him that all of the comments would still be there in the morning, and he could read them when he woke up.
Guess what he asked about as soon as his eyes opened this morning??? 'Mom, can I go look at my card now??' When he saw even more comments, he literally jumped up & down and squealed! (And, with a smirk on his face, proceeded to mention that his card had WAY more comments than any of mine.....:-)
He is already planning his next creation, and ready to take on the world of stamping and uploading.
So, from a mother who's been very touched by the kindness that you've shown my son......THANK YOU....for making my son feel so wonderful.
SCS'ers are truly THE best of the best!!

His card is up to 84 comments!!!! Oh he must be absolutely BURSTING with pride! Seriously, there's nothing cooler than to see their face as they see the comments keep rolling in.
