Use 2 Nestabilities to cut a frame and stick your picture behind. As to attaching to the card, I've often done *picture* cards where I'll attach thin wire or cord behind the picture with tape, and then hang it from a brad on the card. I have some with fancier backgrounds than this one - WT214 Framed Photo by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers - but not sure about linking to Photobucket just right now. You get the idea, anyway, Janice.

Help .... I want to start a new thread(?) & don't know how -about recycling...
I get quite a bit of this plastic strapping material at work, it looks a little like 1/4" wide ribbon, but bumpy. I would like to know if anyone has used it on a card? Can it be colored? I used it once, but it came off the card, prob. used the wrong adhesive.
Anyone???

I've used these for Baby Announcements and they turned out quite nicely...just leave the top part of where the photo goes open to remove it...there are loads of samples in the gallery! Here is the tutorial:

Display the main index page for the forum where you want to start your thread. There will be a gray New Thread button at both the top and the bottom of the list of forum threads. For example, you'll see two New Thread buttons on this General Stamping Talk's index page: Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Go ahead and start your new recycling thread so that we don't hijack smitty2004's thread.

Hi, Janice -- If your photo slips around behind your frame, you can hold it temporarily in place with some removable tape.

I haven't tried making birth announcements with removable photos, but what about just using photo corners? You should be able to adhere the photo corners to the card & then tuck the card in.

You could even get away with just creating slits in the card to hold the corners too.

You could do all 4 corners or just 2 corners diagonal from each other.

there is a Double Diagonal fold card that has pockets in it! I love this fold!!! We may be using it for my daughter's wedding invites. The pocket will hold a tag or card with the picture on it.
