I am thinking about making some cards to sell using both TAC and SU stamps, but I'm not sure what to do about the copyright credits. I have a SU copyright stamp but I'm not sure if I should add something else to give credit to TAC. Does SU have a policy against using their images with others when making products for sale? Hope this makes sense.
How do you get the copyright stamp? I want to start
selling invitations and cards on the web.
Hi There,
You can purchase copyright stamps from a SU Demo, however SU prohibits the sell of any stamped creation using thier images via internet stores, auction sites, or any permanent retail location.
The Angel Company-TAC has a very liberal policy! There is only one restriction ... all creations using TAC images must be handstamped. You do not need to use a copyright stamp and you can sell your creations how ever you'd like If you need more info on TAC you can visit www.theangelcompany.net or send me a PM.
I too wonder how address this issue when using multiple stamps. Also, does anyone know Autumn Leaves copyright policy? I can not seem to find any info on it.
Thanks,
Beth
This is a great resource. I'd recommend contacting individual companies to make sure there policy hasn't changed though. I'm not sure when this site was last updated. HTH
I would *assume* you'd have to give TAC credit as well since the SU copyright would make it look like the stamps were *ALL* SU. Of course, we all know what happens when we assume...
This is just an assumption and I don't know what the legalities are.

SU changed their angel policy awhile ago. You can sell your handmade cards at a permanent retail location and through the internet, ebay, esty, etc.
