I was wondering...I am not a demo (yet) is it okay to put Stampin Up! on my cards in the gallery with the copyright symbol? What wording should I use if the stamp is not a SU!?

Do you mean without the copyright symbol? You can just use (c) Stampin' Up! 1990 - 2006 instead. As for other stamp companies, technically, you should put (c) "stamp company name", but it really depends on each company's policy.
Thank you Laura. I like how everyone is putting text over their gallery uploads and want to do that with mine. I didn't know if maybe for other stamps that I don't know the name of the company or even if I did) it would be okay to put "Hand Stamped by...." and then the company name with the copyright. I guess I am just trying to figure out the correct or best wording to put over my gallery uploads. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Britta! That is awesome! I just tried it and it works! (not that it wouldn't since you said it would lol!) I was wondering how people got that symbol! I'm still wondering how to add it to a picture of a card in ms picture manager though! (I tried it with just 169 and it worked, just wanted to see what else I could get by holding down the alt key and typing numbers!)
Yep -- what Amy said above. I was a little rusty on this policy, so I just double checked it.
And this is what SU says about posting photos of artwork:
"If you post photos of your stamped cards or projects on a Web site, each individual image must have immediately beneath it a copyright notice in graphical form..."

HTH!
Do you know if the copyright requirement applies when you are emailingit to a Yahoo group/MSN group. The cards/project are not stored in any folders or on any website anywhere.

Nope, only if the card is actually ON a website. Being transmitted electronically is not the same thing. Now if the RECIPIENT wanted to put it on a web page, you're back to square one, lol, and somebody has to put the copyright info there.
Okay, I've tried the 0169 thing twice now, and it keeps making my post disappear. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
My comment was: aren't there hundreds of people who post their cards here without doing this? I'm sure no one meant to do anything wrong. Usually, the name of the SU set is listed in the blurb below the card.
What if you use stamps from more than one company?
