Conventions in my area?

I'm fairly new to cardmaking and I would love to go to these conventions that everyone is raving about... How do I find out when a convention will be in my area?

Ususally conventions are announced in craft magazines like Creating Keepsakes or Papercrafts; I've been to the CK convention in Manchester, NH the last 2 years and had a blast! Lots of classes and shopping. Both of these magazines have websites you can check out and there's usually a list of conventions there.

I know that there is a stamping convention in Ocean City, MD the weekend before Memorial Day. Check rubberstamper.com, they should have a listing of the upcoming rubber stamp conventions. HTH

If you know a demonstrator for SU, you may be able to come as a guest to the SU Regionals in Philadelphia in September. It costs money, but you get a free stamp set and awesome tips and ideas. (This year the stamp set price makes up for half of the cost of the event!)

CK is having a convention this weekend near King of Prussia. I went last yr. and even won some stuff. Very crowded, but loads of fun.
