Default Colored hot glue sticks?

Hi....I am making 100 tags for a project for a lady at Enchantedmakeovers.org and I need some colored hot glue sticks to make some dew drops. Do you know where I can find a good price or even these colors, light pink, red, light blue, light teal and ivory? Do you know if anyone has them in a metallic? Thanks so much for your help!

Cassandra

If you have some crystal effects, glossy accents, or Mod Podge Dimensional Magic, you can make your own and then colour them with a sharpie (or Bic Mark It or Copic) marker. Really, any glue that dries clear and hard will work, but my favourite is the Dimensional Magic since it seems to keep the round shape better.

Thanks hun, I appreciate your help. I don't have any sharpies either. I've painted them before too and that's so time consuming. I would just like to find some hot glue and then I could add some perfect pearl to the top and be done. Thanks again!

Try mixing some stamp ink in with the glue before you mould it. Or acrylic paint...

Michael's has the sticks in the floral department with all the hot glue guns and accessories. They did have metallics. If I remember right they were not very expensive.

I have painted them many times before and I can do it again, just looking for something quicker for right now.
Our Michael's doesn't carry colored hot glue sticks. I wish they did! Thanks for your help.

Did a search for you - try googling hot glue faux wax and you'll have better luck finding them . . .

Colored Hot Melt Glue Sticks (Regular 7/16-inch Diameter) (Glu-Stix) - they look to have every color you're looking for except the teal.

Sealing wax - this place actually has teal (not light teal, though) listed as an available color, but they don't have the pink.

Also, check at your Michael's in the wedding section. The last time I was at mine, they had some colored glue sticks and metal "stamps" for doing wax seals on a small display tucked in near the invitations. I don't remember what colors they had, though.

Oh - I know you don't really want to paint them, but could you use a spray paint to make it go faster if you can't find the color you're looking for?

Nuts! Too late to edit - I wanted to mention that I've never actually ordered from either of the links I gave above; they're just something that came up in a google search.

About a million years ago, I ordered some of these:
RubbaDubDubGlueSticks
They have variety packages, but it says you can special order single colors in packs of 25. Not sure if you need that many, but just wanted to say that I have ordered from this company and everything was fine.

HTH,
Connie
