Default Clear Dollar Stamps

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has bought some of the clear/acrylic stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps on eBay. If you have, is the quality good - how does it compare to CTMH, Wordswordth, etc. They have some cute stamps...amazing how some of them look so similar to SU! & CTMH sets...

Here's a link to their store...

http://stores.ebay.com/Clear-Dollar-...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

Thanks!

Vicki

I have only bought the wheels and the acrylic blocks from her - but she was great to work with and from what I remember, shipping was quite fast (even to Canada!).

I've purchased several sets from this store on Ebay. I think they are quality stamps, and not as 'sticky' as CTMH stamps. I like them better! Good stuff! And very inexpensive.

I just took a look, and, I'm sorry to say, as a CTMH consultant, I'm a bit offended by this site. They are using the CTMH name to draw people to their site. There's really no reason for them to say that the stamps work with CTMH blocks, other than to have their auctions come up when someone puts CTMH in the search field.
They do have some good images tho!

eh, that's a common marketing tool on ebay. Wrong? Maybe, but definitely common!

and it isn't like they're lying! They *do* work with CTMH blocks!

I have bought several items from Clear Dollar, and I love them. I mainly bought the word sets, but I have had NO problems with them. I will be a repeater.. lol

They have some alphabet sets that look very similar to SU! - one looks like headline and the other looks like Pure & Simple. I just traded for Pure & Simple and am debating on selling/trading it and just buying the set on this site - as I prefer my alpha's to be clear so I can line them up...I just like to have 2 of each letter.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

The other alpha I like will go great with Cowboy Kid in the summer mini

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Now don't everyone go buy this set so by the time I go to get it, they are gone, there are only 4 of them left. And I haven't made up my mind yet. LOL! I better just go buy it before I finish posting this. LOL!

So adorable - I just have to measure the one like Pure & Simple to see if it's the same size.

Yeah, they aren't lying that their blocks work with CTMH - MANY people put Stampin UP in their ads on eBay too to try to drum up business - like they sell a pair of non-SU! scissors and match it with an SU! technique book so they can have Stampin UP in their header. If you are doing a search and want to eliminate certain things just put a dash in front of your word like "CTMH -works" then that would eliminate seeing all their ads. But if they hadn't put that in there, I wouldn't have found them.

I am hoping that Wordsworth (I had put Wadsworth in my original post...I'm from Ohio, ther eis a Wadsworth, OH...stupid pregnant brain hasn't recovered yet)..hoping Wordsworth comes out with all their alphabet fonts in clear - I have an unmounted set that is rubber - LOVE the font, just hope it comes out in clear. I saw a few clear alphas on eBay yesterday from Wordsworth, so maybe there is hope. Looked online, didn't see other fonts.

I order from them quite a bit. Wonderful stamps, reasonable shipping, and customer service. I even asked them about making a particular stamp set to go with one of their other stamp sets and they made it, and of course I bought it.
