Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending August 30, 2009
Good morning, and welcome to the CAS Favorites thread! Join in the fun and link to your favorite clean and simple cards posted over the past week.
Just a note before I link to mine...because I am a former CAS DT member and have a hand in choosing the next DT, I didn't link to any cards posted for the DT challenge (except a few posted by Jen and other former DT members who are not in the running). Frankly, I don't know how in the world we'll select only three people from the wonderful stampers who have submitted cards for the challenge. The submissions have been simply beautiful! Good luck to everyone!
Here are my favorites for this week!
Stampin' Annie used pink rhinestones very effectively on her fabulous cherries card, and her color combo on her just a note card is totally cool
Hambo posted a fun summery flip flop card with bright colors popped on a white base
wannabcre8tive used fun fibers to accent her adorably simple OLC Christmas card
tankgrl popped a couple of ornaments up on kraft for a fun Christmas card
Heather T's use of both a fun color combination and lovely white space makes her Triple Bird card perfect!
stampinscotsgirl posted a very chic Thank You card that uses a cool border punch from Fiskars that I HAVE to buy, and her black and white square card uses piercing and a ring clip beautifully
rsalamon used a fun and creative border treatment on her Doodle Tree card with non-traditional colors, and her Paper Roses card really takes advantage of white space to spotlight her cool roses
jaydeestamping made a lovely CAS card with Greenhouse Garden
Miss Boo used a fresh and fun color combo and matching ribbon to make a whimsical Bloom card, and her Falling Leaves card made me gasp at its lovely simplicity
TheresaCC posted this absolutely stunning Every Leaf card that I want to CASE
eshac made a sparkly mermaid card that is so fresh and fun and totally CAS
jlazarski posted a CAS29 challenge card that would make anyone feel better with its fun colors and clean lines
k dunbrook's Bloom card makes a bold graphic statement with strong colors and a fab layout
amsoel made a simple yet striking Smile Card that totally caught my eye with its great use of dp
florascrap posted an adorable, simply layered Bundle of Joy card
AngelNorth's leather flower card for CAS29 totally stopped me in my tracks and totally fooled me into thinking she'd used actual leather...fab faux!
Thanks to everyone who posted CAS cards this week! Now, I can't wait to see all I missed, so please post your favorites, too!
Here's a bunch from my faves folder. I won't duplicate Susan's (even though most of hers are in mine as well!) and I'll try to catch the ones that don't have CAS in the keywords.

Thanks so much for mentioning my card and thanks to K Dunbrook for letting me know about it. You made my day.
Thanks Laura for mentioning my card! That put a great big smile on my face. I love looking at the CAS gallery, and am finding tons of inspiration there. This card by monkeymama is one of my very favorites from the week. And this great floral card byjaydeestamping is fabulous, too.
How very sweet of Susan (LateBlossom) and Krista (KristaTracy) to mention my cards as favorites this week! What an awesome way to start the week off! Thank you!!
I started this list a couple of hours ago and got side tracked. LOL!
Like Susan explained, I'll be linking non CAS DT submissions this week. There are an overwhelming number of DT submissions. They're incredible. Here are the links for all of the challenge cards:
