Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending August 21, 2011

Of course I slept in on my first day back to starting this thread. I'll get it going and then come back with my list of favorites, which is long because the gallery was fabulous!

First, though, I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread for the past few weeks, including susanbri, nancy littrell, momof5sons (marie), k dunbrook, TrishG, and all the others who contributed in my absence. The CAS subculture here at SCS is wonderful!

Cards4Ever used the new stocking die to make a gorgeously textured baby booty card

star took texture in another, more reptilian direction for her fab Leapin' Lizards! kid's birthday card

mandypandy also made a kid's card, but with dinosaurs, some fun coloring, and a great layout

Miss Boo's IC card caught my eye with its pretty greens, soft pops of red and orange, curvy lines, and lovely texture

juls716 took a color-block layout to new levels of design beauty with a punched border and perfectly placed button

Heather T is queen of the sponge, but she outdid herself with her Eastern Blossoms card...the colors and layout are simply perfect

CathyRose also sponged her way to CAS perfection this week

rosigrld made a great card when she made her great friend butterfly card

hobbydujour's bubble celebration card totally made me smile!

biggan's Think Green card blew me away...I thought she'd used real leaves at first because she sponged them so realistically!

Carriejoe made a CAS Holiday card that has fun details while still maintaining a CAS feel

cookiebaker's Get Inky card combined lovely colors and a CAS layout for beautiful results

limedoodle used three buttons, pinking scissors, and die-cut clouds on her fabulous birthday card

pantrymoth made a Tiffany wedding card that is simply sweet

Aimes used pattern, a button, and very clean lines to great effect on her Birthday star card

stagccva took one-layer thanks to a new level of perfection with her gorgeous blue medallion card

Tilly made a lovely one-layer card, also, only her approach was collage stamping with some beautiful Memory Box and Hero Arts stamps

mamamostamps made a lovely sympathy card, suitable for a man, with some soft watercolor and subtle texture

cmcmathey totally weakened by resolve to resist the A Muse Avian Notes set with her Hello! card

stampinandrea expertly colored her simple squared posies stam on one layer for a wonderful birthday card

artystamper made me long for autumn with her rocked and rolled We Must Be Willing card

criminalgrace posted On Cloud 9, using vellum and glitter and textured cardstock perfectly

atsamom used gorgeous colors for her sponged background and some pumpkin stickles on her lovely LIM challenge card

lbenden used a complementary color scheme to great effect on her Hello card


Whew! What a lot of CAS fabulousness! Thanks so much to all who upload their work...so much inspiration makes SCS the best stamping site on the web!

Korin is this week's featured stamper and she made this gorgeous cas card this week. I love how the leaves are popped up and the sentiment makes a border.

My apologies, lovely ladies of CAS...I agreed to notify this week for Karen while she get a much deserved break. I forgot that this is also the kickoff day for a ministry that I run.
