Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites Ending Sunday November 24, 2013
Hello All,
I love starting the CAS Favorites thread at this time of year as there are so many gorgeous Christmas cards (my favourite kind of card). It's very hard to keep this at a reasonable size but I know others of you will list some of the ones I miss!
Need help linking your Favorites ? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button

Good grief, Charlie Brown! I sure must have been in a haze this week to have missed seeing some of the beauties that Susan shared. Thanks, Susan, for pointing them out.
As for the ones that I DIDN'T miss...hope you enjoy these...
Susan, thank you for brightening my day with your mention of my Holly in a Basket card. I'm so happy you liked it.
Thanks, Karen, for the notification.

Thanks for the shout-out, Diane. After a decidedly cranky scales this a.m., it was just what I needed to divert my attention to a happy place. Thanks, too, to Karen for letting me know.
Here are some of my CAS favorites from the week:
Nature's Music by k dunbrook I loved the softness of Karen's snowflakes. I felt like I was snug inside looking out the corner of a frosted window at the snow.
Deck the Halls by Arizona Maine I thought the music on the holly leaves and berries was just perfect for this card.
Red Packing Tape by Rox71 I really thought the inclusion of the printed packing tape was a great idea and looks so nice on this card. It goes so well with the textured cardstock.
Christmas Blessings by dostamping I loved all the sparkle (ESPECIALLY the red glittery star!) on this perfectly CAS card.
Thanks by hobbydujour A "12" on the 1-10 sweetness scale. Sallie's embossed dots and fancy frame highlight her adorable focal image.
Endless Wishes CAS Notecard with Washi Tape by juls716 This card has all the elements for a perfect CAS card. The red "Christmas" is a perfect visual balance to the colorful strips of washi tape.
Merry Christmas Pine by ohmypaper! No question about it -- Angela's ornaments caught my attention right away.
Ice Covered Bulbs by jandjccc Wow, wow, WOW!!! The deeply hued bulbs and Mary's perfect eye for where to put the snow makes this card a winner.
Warm Winter Wishes by bearpaw I loved the contrast between the soft snowflakes on the panel and the crisp die cut ones.
Talking Turkey by jenmitchell Adorable card, but it was the impression plate that made the card for me. It added just the right "cozy comfort" factor I associate with Thanksgiving.
Thanks so much, Susan Bri, for including my glimmer poinsettia in your weekly favorites. I am truly honored by the mention. I loved this card but until my classes see it, it's not a given that it will be a hit. Had my first class Friday. It's a huge hit. Thank you again, Susian.
To pay it forward, I would like to mention these lovely cards done by wonderful stampers:
Debbie, thank you so much for mentioning my card....and putting it on the "sweetness" scale. : ) You gave me a happy smile. Karen, I can never thank you enough for all the diligent work you do EVERY Sunday to deliver happiness and good feelings. Hugs, Sallie
My goodness, an unexpected pat on the back from Susan (susanbri) for my Bling and Butterflies card. Thank you so much Susan, and Karen (k dunbrook) for leaving me a note!
I had a lot of time in the gallery this week. Many of them need more love because they weren't part of a SCS challenge. Here are some of my favorites :-D
Thank you Susan for mentioning my Musical Christmas Tree and Jen and Loll for mentioning my CC453 Very Merry card. You girls are awesome and then there is our amazing Karen who lets us know our cards are special :-) Hugs..
Here are favorites....Love all the Inspiration from so many awesome CAS stampers :-)
Thank you, Nancy, for mentioning my bee-lated birthday card. I so appreciate all your kind comments and this is icing on the cake (or perhaps, "whipped cream on the pie?")
