Does anyone happen to have a rubber stamp of that horrendous Leg Lamp from the Christmas Story movie. I happened on a website called "Sideshow Stamps." They show this rubber stamp in their listing, BUT it's out of stock. I have just two in-laws that I would really love to make a card for with that Leg Lamp design. If anyone has it would you please post here or send me a PM? Got it. See below.

Reason: Got stamp
I don't know about the stamp, but we're getting the (small version) leg lamp for my husband's dad for Christmas! We've even found a crate we can pack it in. Maybe I can remember to take my alpha stamps and stamp FRAGILE on the crate!
I just got a reply via email. Sideshow Stamps is expecting a new shipment of the Leg Lamp Stamp soon. If anyone is interested, just go to their website and send them an email. They will let you know when they have it again.
By the way, they have Tshirts from that movie at our Walmart. One of them says, "You'll shoot your eye out, kid." Another has the kid looking at the light pole and it says "I double dog dare you." Gotta have one!!! It's our family tradition to watch it on Christmas Day.

my all time fave Christmas classic.
on Xmas eve, i watch the 24 hour marathon at LEAST 6 times..
it was my tradition as a child.. i would love to make my mom a card with that stamp.. thanks!
I always loved that movie and now "you'll shoot your eye out" has come true in our family, my cousins stepson was playing with a stick and it broke and a piece flew into his eye! After a surgery or two it will be ok

I had to share---- I received the small replica of this lamp in our family's white Elephant gift exchange last year!! I loved it!! It has been on my desk all year long. You can either have the lamp lit or the leg lit or both at the same time... hehehe the Box said Fragile too.. freaj-eeee-leeee -- must be French! I would love to have this stamp!!!!
My family watches this matathon on TBS every year!
I want the red rider BB gun for xmas--- LOL --- You'll shoot your eye out!!I especially love it when he drops the lug nuts and drops the F-BOMB-- the mother of all #$%^&* Words. hahah ha ahah ah ah a
I love this movie!!! I watch it one after another every year...a local cable channel plays it for 24 hours straight and I wrap the gifts, bake the cookies, and tie up all the loose ends Christmas eve while laughing my butt off! My brother was at the dinner table when he was 11 and did the "show mommy how the piggy eats" scene and cracked us all up, but when my uncle pushed his head in the plate of mashed potatoes we all lost it. To this day if my uncle says "how's the piggy eat?" we burst into a fit of laughter. I know it's juevenile, but hysterical. Ahhh, the memories of Christmas past...if I only had a picture, I'd do a page in the scrapbook!
the Lone Ranger's nephew's horse's name....everyone knows that. Ha ha ha hah!
"Yeah, yeah, a nice football."
"C+ you'll shoot you eye out."
"Thhhhtuck, thhhhtuck, THHHHHHTUCK!!!!!" "Ralphie, come back, don't leave me!"
"The bell rang." "Flick, Flick who?"
"Be sure to drink your Ovaltine. A crummy commercial???"
"Ohhhh fuuuuudddggge...only I didn't say fudge." "The f dash dash dash word...the queen mother of all dirty words." ha ha ha ha!
"It was...........SOAP POISONING!!!!" ha ha ha hah!
"Not a fingaaahhh!!!" ha ha ha!
There are so many reasons I love this movie, I could go on forever!
Do you guys know that there is a sequel to this movie? Just as funny... about the school summer vacation, but it doesn't have the original actors. Love it too, but nothing beats the original.
For anyone who needs quotes from the movie, go here... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085334/quotes
I'm using a bunch of lines to make background paper.
"Aunt Clara had for years not only perpetually labored under the delusion that I was 4 years old, but also a girl."
"He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny."
"He does not!"
"He does too, he looks like a pink nightmare!"
I can top all of you!!!!! My DH's uncle sent us an actual FULL SIZE leg lamp!!!!! We got a telegram a few days ago telling us that we won a "major award". Then the other day this huge box comes and low and behold we open it to find this wooden crate filled with the LEG LAMP!!!!! Of course being huge fans of the movie, we had to put it in our front window and take a picture. This lamp is literally about 5 feet tall!!! It is now sitting next to my nativity set of all places!!!!
