I've been making 4 each month since January - that was my crafting resolution for the first WT challenge of the year, and so far I'm up to date. That gives me most of what I need, and cards made for other challenges will round the number up so that I'm not short.
Still trying to think of an idea for this month . I've been trying to make them fairly similar each month, but that's not strictly necessary.

Oh, I love that idea of making 4 a month! I am going to make that my resolution for next year:p
I'm afraid that I'm a "Tis the Season" person. I just cannot get in the mood to do anything Christmas related until at least after Halloween! Sometimes I start buying presents then, but never make any Christmas cards until after Thanksgiving.

I'm another one who can't get into the spirit of making Christmas cards until at least November. I belong to 2 different stamp clubs and we all decided that each person would create one Christmas card when it was their turn to teach that month. As a result, I now have 14 different Christmas cards ready to mail out and more will be added each month. I still plan on making some cards once November rolls around, but I'm not under much pressure since I'll already have a supply ready to go.
Yes, I have started. I did start with one a week and fell off that wagon pretty quickly lol. I think I'm up to about 18 or so and need about 40 in total. I need to play catch up soon!
Please look at the Christmas Card Challenge thread here on SplitCoast! Many, many ideas, and ways to help you meet your goals!. No restrictions, it's totally on you how you want to do it! No pressure, just a place where you can get inspiration and a way to post results if you want! Great place! It's such a nice feeling when you are ahead of the game by November!
I haven't started yet, BUT I've got all but one of the birthday cards done that I need from now until January, specifically so I'll have time to make all the Christmas cards I want!

Me too. But early November for me. Fortunately, I don't send as many cards as most of you --about 25 max. I don't mass produce so I'm time crunched every year but 25 isn't an impossible number to finish in 6 weeks.
I had High Hopes this year. But hopefully I am in the groove a bit more now I have made Graduation announcements & thank yous. Plus, extra moving, anniversary and a 21st for our niece. Now just need to work on getting the birthdays out of the way.... so yeah, it looks like it might be about November when I get to them!
I spent my vacation craft week in June working on this year's designs. I settled on 6 different card designs, acquired the supplies, completed the cards, and embossed the envelope flaps as well. It feels great having those 110 cards completed! I found that the more ideas I saw and printed, the more delayed I became in actually making my cards. So I narrowed my focus to theme and technique this year, and the results are pleasing.
My newest projects will begin when my SU order arrives in 2 weeks, and the seaside/nautical note cards are designed to donate for a craft show in Florida in October. I've been toying with other designs for different occasions, so my card stash is growing slowly. I love designing autumn cards for any occasion, so that will be the next challenge!
I was going to start today. I labelled the contents of one shelf of my craft drawers and did some editing of my craft pie safe (that isn't something fancy - I use my great grandmother's pie safe to store my craft supplies).
I always think this is a nice idea - however for me, it is not practical. My Christmas stamps/papers/dies/samples take up a lot of room. They have to be stored in boxes -- there is no room for them in my craft area. Getting them "down" is a big production and when they are accessible, well, hardly anything else is. Also, I am not a huge Christmas fan and I enjoy having 9 months off. Will get started in Oct as soon as I am through with Halloween (which is my favorite holiday to make cards for!!)
I haven't actually stamped any cards yet for this year but I fished out all the ones from last year that I never got around to mailing and made my list for new stamps so soon I will be ready to go and this time I have a plan: two stamp sets, two designs each. Keep it simple is not my thing but keeping it less complicated may result in friends and family actually getting their cards!

I'm another October person, at the earliest. I really cannot handle Christmas images any earlier than that! Even the stores starting to get Christmas stuff in straight after our August Bank Holiday (Last weekend of August) gives me the heebie jeebies!
I had a Christmas card class last Saturday with 8 designs, and I'll have another on August 23rd with 8 more designs. But I'm not using any of them for mine, I don't think. When I get back from vacation the end of September, I'll get serious about thinking about it.

I've already seen some Christmas things in stores and it's not even Labor Day (1st Monday in Sept) yet. Even the Halloween stuff hasn't shown up yet. What freaks me out is having Halloween stuff on one side of the aisle and Christmas on the other all at the same time.
