When I first saw it, I didn't like it. But it's starting to grow on me. However, there are only 25 cards in the gallery. Saw a gorgeous card with the cheesecloth embossed in gold (sorry, but can't remember who made it).
I'm trying to decide if I should order it in April. I already have canvas, and am ordering linen. Is it too similar?
TIA.

I've seen a ton of cards made with it but maybe if it's not the "main" stamp, it doesn't show in it's own gallery; I've seen it used as fish net & spider webs; good luck!

I LOVE it! It's completely different from Canvas and Linen. And there are 382 uploads in the gallery. You need to do a separate search. I did it for you to make it quicker. Here's the link.

I thought it was creepy, too, until I saw this card by Trudee. Now I have to have it! I'll have to remember to try embossing it in gold; that sounds really neat.

when I first saw cheesecloth I couldn't believe how ugly it was. Then, as usual, I saw some of the samples here at SCS and decided to buy it. I bought crosshatch by mistake! Traded that for a set I never use.
Sooo I think I'll get cheesecloth if I buy anything at all this month. I've really got to get a grip on my spending!!

It's just a look that the other backgrounds cannot achieve. It's also great to stamp cheesecloth lightly on top of an image you've already watercolored - to sort of give it a vintage look.
