Default chalkboard decor elements

I am so out of the loop now that I am not a demo. I am curious about the chalkboard decor elements. I LOVE the message center they show in the catty (p.224) and am thinking of doing one just like that. BUT I wonder just how well the chalkboard decor elements hold up? anyone who has them or have used them, could you chime in and give me your oppinion? just worried over time they will not wipe clean. thanks for any input!

I have the smaller ones in the Summer Mini that are made to go on jars. I have chalked on and off of them several times but not as many times as you would a calendar. So far, so good.

I love the calendar one and this is one time I wish my walls were something other than logs! Gonna have to put the calendar on something else.

I too have the smaller ones and so far so good - they are holding up well. I am looking to get bigger ones for the playroom plus that calendar because I cant resist it...

I have a friend who has the big talk bubble chalkboard decor element. She has been using it for about 4 months and absolutely loves it. She went out and bought some dustless chalk to use with it. It is right next to their phone so it is their message area for the family. I hope that helps.

I have the one that looks like a bistro sign, and it is working fabulously! My kids love writing on it in colored chalk. It is just like a chalk board. Every once in a while we use a baby wipe to get it really clean.

I have the "bistro" sign one near my phone in the kitchen too. It's been written on/wiped off many times and is holding up great!
