Default Cards with tags to match? How to put together for gift?

I want to put together an assortment of cards with tags to match for my sister who is always going to another wedding or baby shower, etc. I thought since she usually does baskets that I would do tags to match the cards.

What do you think about having the tags just have the holes on them and putting in some assorted ribbon for her to tie on the tags? I thought of putting the ribbon on the tags, too but then might not be long enough.

How would you give the tags knowing they will probably get tied to either a basket or gift bag?

maybe put the card with envelope and matching tag together in a clear bag? then putting all the bags together in the set.

I like the idea about putting the card and the tag together as a set, that is a fabulous idea I hadn't thought of - I had originally thought of the cards together and tags together but DUH your idea is just so much smarter, thank you! I feel almost blushing to have not thought of it actually!

NO way, I sometimes get so caught up in stuff that I forget the obvious, LOL. !!

I was more concerned/agonizing about whether or not to tie the ribbon on the tag to think about the obvious of just putting them together in a kit type of thing.

Here is a link for a stationary set that has cards and tags that you put in it. It is really cute and very easy.

Cards and matching tags are such a great idea and it was fun to see the cute samples as well. How do you make tags? Do you have templates or do any of you have die cuts that you would recommend? Recently I purchased a set of 3 Spellbinders tag dies. I was disappointed when they arrived, since I had imagined they would be bigger somehow. I wish they would come out with a tag nestie set. Any suggestions?
TIA,
Annie
