Default Cards that move! 101

I am trying to find some templates for cards that move - and aren't too difficult to make

If you know of any good sites or have directions, I would be thrilled if you shared!

I tried the templates section but think I must be doing something wrong.

You don't need to look any further than the "Resources" section on Splitcoast. There is a waterfall card, trifold card, spinner card, gel card and suspension card. (I am sure there are more). If you check under resources you will see instructions on how to make those cards plus many more. Have fun.

Default Thanks

I will check out the resources section. It is difficult if you don't know what you are looking for - but with your help, I now have some names to look up!

THANKS

Linda Heller has a great video on her blog showing how to make a diarama card (has a little moving scene in a box). It will be there until tomorrow. She changes to a new technique every Sunday.

I have done the trifold card, spinner card and waterfall card. If your looking for easy, the trifold card is pretty simple. The waterfall card is more work (IMO). I love the spinner card - very simple once you have done one.

I love the gel card - it is the next one I want to try.

Just go down the list to see what catches your fancy. There are many other samples that might spark your imagination.

Default Directions

Hi,
I followed your link, and upon looking at the card fold, the stamper mentioned the original fold by kid305. I read her posts under the Halloween card, and she posted instructions in the Techniques forum. Once there, I searched her name and here they are:

Good luck with your card!!

You can use the mechanisms in his and them add your own items like punch art and create something that moves like his but has your own twist. There is a cannon creative park that has several cards that pop up and move as well. You can alter those as well. The resources here are fabulous. The waterfall card gets a lot of requests to make more from the recipients. Have fun. Cards that move are my favorites.
