[Crafter 4 Life]

I know that this question has probably be answered before but I am new to the digi stamp area. What do you use to color your images? I have Prismacolor pencils, Copics, Sharpies, some water based markers. I have an inkjet printer so I don't want the image to bleed.

Also, I want sooo much to use some of the Dustin Pike images. The samples the users are showing are so cute.

I have done some watercoloring on my image using Georgia Pacific cardstock. What I have done in the past that keeps the ink from smearing is to heat set as soon as the image is printed. For watercoloring, make sure the brush isn't too wet and I've heat set in between colors you if plan to blend them together. Make sure to stay in the lines because if you brush over the lines too much then the ink starts to smear. I've also heard that you can emboss the image too as soon it comes off printer. You can see some samples below...

Many use prisma colored pencils and Copics to color in their images, but since I don't have either at the moment (but will have my prismas coming soon - yay), I've use the watercolor method.

Here's my first one. I tried out one of Dustin's while on vacation last week and loved it...went on a shoping spree of digi-stamps! They are way to fun! I used Copics, Marvy (smeared a bit), pencil and gamsol, crystal effects and stickles (very lightly...will cause smearing).
