Just wanting to find out what kind of "Card Campaigns" are out there?
What do they consist of? What is/are the cause/s? That kind of thing.....
What kind of questions would you ask too, if you were looking around for Card Campaigns to be involved in?

Here is the link to the Cards for a Cause page on this site. There is a different recipient each month and some of the previous one ps take cards all year.
Here’s a link to the Chemo Angels web site. Volunteers are needed to send cards to individuals undergoing chemo treatments. This organization also has a program whereby cards are sent to senior citizens to brighten their day.

The reason for my Card Campaign question was to get an over-all idea of what kind of campaigns are out there. I am thinking of starting my own DIFFERENT kind of Card Campaign, to be revealed on my blog in the near future. ;)
I would like to joint the monthly Ronald McDonld card drive listed earlier in this thread, but when I try to post there to add my name, it says I don’t have permission to post. Does anyone know how I can fix this and join that monthly card drive? Thanks!

I think that's because it's in the Swaps area of the forum rather than the Cards for Cause section - and to be able to post there, you need to ask to join the swaps group. I'm sure that's primarily a safeguard for swaps between people rather than for a cause, but anyway, I'd say that's your problem. Over on the left of this page, in the box that says "Around the Site" you'll see a link which says Join a Group. If you click on that, you'll see the groups that are available, so just click on the swap hostesses and participants and request to join.
