I just embossed SU Glossy CS with gold EP, and it makes fabulous metal mesh on paper! I rubbed embossed paper with cameo coral reinker to make it more coppery. I bet it makes beautiful silver mesh, too!
What a great background stamp! It can be used so many ways.
I'm excited that I can make custom colored metallic mesh in a paper weight any time I want now. SU and SCS are the best!
I was just thinking it might make a great wire screen background for some of the "bug" sets - it's a finer gauge in than most of the purchased mesh, and already stuck on the paper.
That is NOT a goober of a card! LOL
It is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad I got that stamp too. When I first saw the Magic Mesh (and the price), I said to my DS, Why don't they come out with a stamp that looks like that???? Now they have!!!

I have the canvas stamp and I swear I can't stamp anything these days without it somewhere, now I just need the gold embossing powder . . . what a great idea! Thanks!
I have tried the gold and silver emboss also... what is also really cool is
use clear embossing powder heated on white CS and then use your brayer
with the sponge roller viola it is really neat. I used this in greys and or brown tones for a Vintage Layout.

Question from Stampinit in comment section of card (Great question!): I don't have any glossy paper have you tried it on the ultra smooth white? Do think you could get the same look with colored card stock also?
---- My response ---- add yours as you find new ways!!!
In some ways, SU regular colors and white cardstock will be easier. Glossy and metallic finishes grab fingerprints almost as well as versamark. However, using reinker juice probably is a no-go. But then you have the color of the paper or you could use direct to paper techniques. Hmmmm... great idea!!!
Which leads to idea of not embossing - but using SU! Encore metallics brayered on to Canvas and stamping on window sheets/or acetate...A real clear metallic screen to put over any background. (Who is up for that?) Be sure to let inks on acetate air dry for quite a while.- or it will smear.
Yea - I am loving this stamp even more!
I haven't had a chance to play with it yet - I have been too busy with Sell-a-bration! BUT... I did trim it yesterday, so it is ready to go!!!!
Now I think to mention it! Using SU! DETAIL embossing powder is very important. SU!'s embossing powders are the best available anywhere, and for that fine mesh... detail is the ticket.
Just saw JulieHRR's version of copper encore on turquoise - really great example of metallic ink on color using Canvas...
