Does anyone know where there are tutorials for the "canopy" cards that I have seen on Splitcoast?
If that is not what they are called, they are the cards that have sets like the Cheers to You sets and they have made like a bar for the drinks to sit on?
She is using the word punch from SU. I don't have that but I have a set of long oval shapes like it from a different company that I am going to see if I can make it with
Or if you have circle punches you can cut strips the width of the punch and then round the ends by sliding the strip in through the bottom of the punch. It would be hard if you needed to get several all an identical length, but if you only want the bottom edge rounded it would be a good way to go. I often do that if I want a sentiment on a strip that is longer than the Word Window will punch.

or maybe try cutting a strip and using a corner rounder? might be worth a try or of course just use a flat edge canapy!
You could even just cut the piece of paper the size you want the canapy to be (the whole size) and then fold the two sides and use a border punch on one end. It would end up being like a canvas or plastic canopy. Like this (I did this freehand at work, so please understand it's just a rough sample). Patterned paper would be really cute too!!
if you have a Cricut with the George cartridge, there is a rounded rectangle on there that I just tried yesterday. It made a pretty decent awning, although the strips are wider than the Word Window Punch.
I cut them at one and a half inches.
Easy Peasy, and I'm proud of myself because I improvised!

I love that you made a quick sample at work! You Rock!
