My question is for Canadians who love Hero Arts stamps. I can't find the stamps I really want at my local stores and I'd love to be able to purchase them online with reasonable shipping costs. So far I think my only options are either through the Hero Arts website or the Two Peas website. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
I have bought through addicted to rubber stamps and they have good prices and I have had good service from them. Also frantic Stamper has some Hero Arts and great shipping and service. Good luck with this we really get the short end for products sometimes being Canadian.
Good question....I would like to know too. Right now I buy online through Ebay. I can compare prices but you really have to watch the shipping prices to Canada....and it does take time to get them here.....
Cat, I love Michaels' coupons but I've never had any luck with their selection of Hero Arts stamps. Different regions must carry quite a different stock. I'm not one of the lucky ones!
Lorri, thanks so much for pointing me to Addicted to Rubber Stamps. So far, they look like they have the cheapest prices and they are carrying the ones I want! I will also have a look at Frantic Shopper before making final decisions.
Karen, you might want to check out Addicted to Rubber Stamps! I asked my local craft store if they carry any of the ones I wanted and their prices were DOUBLE the ones at ARS. Wow. Shipping to Canada appears to be very reasonable, too! At least they list prices in Canadian dollars.
Just remember about duties. I had a $20 order from Addicted to Rubber stamps and had to pay about $20 in duties. I did order from Simon Says Stamp recently. Didn't have to pay duties on a $45 order, but it took over a month to get to me.
I know Jenni from Scrapbooks By Design is planning on ordering from Hero Arts for the new and improved website in November. She is hoping to possibly have them in time for the Creative Festival.
Bizzy B carries Hero Arts as well, but they are a little pricey.
Thanks, Christine! Scrapbooks By Design has never carried a great selection of stamps but there's always hope. I did check with Bizzy B's and you are right; their prices on the stamps I want are approximately $5 more per stamp than what I've seen on the web. Based on that, I think I'd be willing to pay the border taxes just to get exactly what I want.
Try Scrapbooker's Paradise. They are based out of Calgary, carry Hero Arts Stamps, and will ship. Plus, right now they have free shipping for first time customers until the end of October!!!

There's gotta to be a local rubber stamp store around your TO town! check in your phone book! Where do other SCS TO gals shop? Someone must know!
WE have a little family run store here and they will even order what you want when they put in their order every month or season. Check and see what you want on the catalog and then shop!
Let us know what you find!

How could I forget about this store! I go there all the time for their 70% off section. I get a lot - I mean A LOT - of stamps there. Especially when they have the 70% PLUS another 25% off the sale price. A lot of times you can get whole sets for under $5 in the 70% off section. Its crazy! I got $280 worth of Spellbinder dies one time for $60. Unfortunately, this is in store only. But the free shipping for online purchases - as far as I know - if for your first order, so if you've been saving up I would make it a good one.
Unfortunately my local scrapbooking stores never carry anything I want and when I ask them to order, they either charge an astronomical amount (i.e. $5 more per stamp which is not cheap considering what I 'might' have to pay in shipping and border taxes) or they can't give me a timeline on when the stamps will arrive. I don't like to wait and I want to know when my supplies will arrive!
Cat, wow, $280 worth of Spellbinder dies for $60 is an incredible deal! I never seem to be so lucky. ;) I'm definitely going to be casing Scrapbooker's Paradise now!
Scrapping Great Deals carries Hero Arts Stamps (and tons of other great stuff), frequent sales, shipping deals, etc.
Heather's Stamping Haven in Ottawa carries them and will mail to you at cost, if memory serves.
I don't know if London is within driving distance for you, but Stamp Art and the Stamp Shack are there, and may carry Hero Arts.

Anyone shopping at heathers should know she has an affinity card that you get stamped with each purchase over $20. But you should ask for it. I have been shopping there for over a year now and today was the first day I was asked if I had their card. When I asked why they did not give me one earlier, the reply was I don't know.

Thanks, ladies! I placed an order with Simon Says Stamps in the U.S. since they had all the Hero Arts stamps I wanted and they offer free shipping to Canada on orders over $70. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for the package to arrive! Now that I'm on the Scrappin' Great Deals site, I can't tear myself away. LOL
One other question I have is, where does everyone get Spellbinders nestabilities cheap?? I find that Canadian stores charge almost twice as much as the U.S. ones. :( It's almost worth paying the duty/border taxes to order from Scrap-Mart if I'm saving that much per set!
Sheila the owner of of Srappin' Great is really helpful too... I just sent her a message asking about paper trimmers ..re my thread about "paper trimmers for dummies"

I get mine from Cut@Home. If you sign up for their emails, you get a 40% off coupon code once a month which can be used for Nestabilities. Even with shipping to Canada, they can be cheaper than most Canadian suppliers. This is especially true if you buy the sets of four.
The cheapest Canadian source I have found is PaperWorks Co. based out of Edmonton.
Hope that helps.

I recently discovered onecrazystamper after I saw their advertisment here. LOVE them. The store is based in Ontario, there prices are quite competetive to US prices. Copic Sketch are on sale for $4.95, with free shipping with orders over $100. She carries a bunch of different stamp companies and is always introducing new stuff.
I get my Spellbinders from Jan at Scrapbook Moments and More (Welcome to Scrapbook Moments & More ) She has good prices and great service (and is in Richmond Hill).
I believe that Pointer Gifts, which is in Markham also sells Hero Art stamps. Here is a link to the online store, but they also have a store - http://www.pointerscrapbooking.com/ . They have some great samples, and they are right across the street from the SandyLion outlet.
Have fun shopping!

That is so true, Jennifer! I'm impatient... I want my goodies immediately!! Sometimes I think I'd be willing to pay for UPS or FedEx to get it here within a week. ;)
I just wanted to let you all know that I was IMPRESSED with the service and low shipping costs at Eclectic Paperie! It was only five days from the moment I checked out to the day they arrived in the mail.
