Default Canadian online retailer list *merged*

Ladies I am putting together a list of stores that are Canadian or ship to Canada for fair prices. If you have one can you PM me? I will post the results in a document and put it on my blog as well.

So tired of hunting and hunting!

Looks like they merged it - here is the link

Thanks Alanna you helped soooooo much!!!!

Hi, there!

Personally, I think you should keep it just to the Canadian online stores - I think the 'ship to Canada' is too broad. Perhaps you'd want to list the non-Canadian site which do not? But that's my opinion (& I hate paying duty :P ).

Have a look in this thread, too:
Canadian Sites???X4 *MERGED*

And there's a Canadian Directory of Scrapbooking stores (both bricks'n'mortar and online ones) here - (Note: You can search for online ones, only_

We Love Scrapbooking

Rather than putting your compiled list in a document (which may not be accesible to all), would you consider making it into an alphabetical list and posting it directly in a thread?
.
Hope this helps!

Sure I will. to all you say. I had planned to keep the US shippers sep too because of duty. I buy most of my stuff online and really need a good concise list
Thanks for your help!

I can hardly wait for your list to come out. Personally, I am tired of getting stuck for duty because I saw something on line that I really wanted. The bonus here is it would be nice to support a Canadian enterprise. (Not that I mind shopping eslewhere, and most likely still will. I should get my merchandise much faster this way,I hope)

Suzy H you beat me to it :mrgreen: ...I was just thinking about doing this yesterday!! I will try and put together what I have and send it your way. Thanks for doing this, it will be super helpful! I too was thinking of splitting up the list into Canadian sites and US sites that are "Canadian-friendly", the latter likely being a huge list. I think with everyone's feedback and experiences it would be do-able though. Maybe just stick to the sites that people have used with good outcomes. Let me know if I can help!

I would love a list like that. Thank you for getting that started! I like the idea of splitting the list into the 2 categories for Canadian-based & Canadian-friendly. I like the idea, as suggested, that the latter be limited to those companies where people have had a positive experience with shipping & service. Its easy to find companies that will ship to Canada ... not so easy to find ones that aren't going to leave you feeling burned, so the personal experience of others is so valuable.

Default Canadian Online Retailers

Scrappin Great Deals is in Komoka, Ontario, just outside of London.

www.scrappingreatdeals.com

They ship, but if you are in the London area, you can go to their house and shop by appointment, just to make sure that someone is home and not picking up the kids or something. Their phone # and email address are on the website and they will give you directions to their place.

All cuttlebug orders have to be pre-ordered, but they other supplies in stock.

Hi all!
I am getting the site all set up then will post the link *and* all the info here for you! Thank you so much for your PMs and posts this is going to be so awesome

Someone asked for my blog - I do have one but it is in it's infancy and was merely for me to post my craft stuff to other newbies so I am a bit embarassed to post it here but I will when its all off the ground

I am just posting the info on my personal website which really has nothing much on it but it is short and easy to remember

Default Canadian stamp and supply list/site is almost up

I am almost done! I tried to include the location of each store, and what makes it special (ie shipping rebate program, brand name stamps etc)

Please keep in mind I do not recommend one store over the other as I havent tried them. Just doing my best to help out and create a list I would want

Thanks to all who sent in sites - I will try to keep a list updated to post here once in a while as well as posting it on my site.

Thanks Deb! I just added a new section for US stamp manufacturers. I hope to keep it a work in progress and keep adding larger retailers and manufacturers

I think it is a great way to compare prices and ship costs. Maybe certain retailers will bring ship prices down if they see just how much us Canadians spend online!

Hi Suzy;
This is a great list, thank you to you and everyone who helped out. Just wanted to let you know that franticstamper.com is very customer friendly to Canada....well, to everyone. I love Fran's service. I've always had very positive experiences with Fran. Sorry I didn't put this in a pm...the kids are calling for me now, and it was quicker to add Fran's site here.
Thanks again;
