Default Can you help identify this stamp set?

Someone posted this over on another message board and none of us can figure out who makes it or the name of it. Can you?

I thought it was the SU DD Shells set but alas, it's not. Close, but not. I agree it seems like at the very least the swirl doesn't belong in the set though. And perhaps the shells, lobster, seahorse are from one and the two other scraggly swirls go together. You may have 3 different sets here.

Hi
I too have a Stampin Up set that I unsure of the name. I bought it off ebay (here is the link Stampin Up Under the Sea VERY RARE Retired Stamp set l | eBay) and it says "Under the Sea" but nothing comes of that other then the ebay link. The stamps show "2002". Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Trish

Trish...
The stamp set you have *is* called Under the Sea. It was new in the 2002-2003 catalog and retired the same year.

As for the set in the original post that was over on Two Peas...
I looked through my oldest catalogs and didn't see the set (or sets) that might be involved. Maybe they are older than 2000, which is as far back as I go.

Are we positive it isn't an old CTMH set? That is what I keep thinking. They used to do the wood mounted sets.

I looked through all the catty's I have prior to 2004, which goes back as far as 1996. I didn't find them. I can't say for sure they're not SU, since I don't have any of the cattys any older than that. I wonder how long SU has used that wood block shape with the curved sides, and if any other company uses that shape. Good luck on finding the answer.

No answer yet? I'm losing sleep over this one. I wish someone would solve the mystery.

Hahaha, I'm the same way....keep stalking the thread hoping someone has the answer! I must have loaned out my old catties or I'd look for the answer myself, but when I had a spare minute and went to grab the books and take a look, they weren't there! I'm notorious for loaning things out and not remembering who has them. Hopefully they'll make their way home to me, but in the meantime I'm not able to help with the mystery!
