Default Can anyone ID this stamps?

I'm trying to find out who makes the gorgeous background stamp in this beautiful card by rdm:

Autumn Birthday Skies

Does anyone recognize it? If so, please PM me! Thanks!!

I also think it is probably from CHF, I am sure I have seen this same stamp elsewhere recently but decided not to buy it because I have something similar from Mary at Stamp Camp (a lovely scene of blustery trees which goes beautifully over a brayered/sponged background)

Sure looks like one I have, but mine is also unmounted (green rubber as I recall) and it's at least 10 years old. Huh...I'll see if I can dig it out, but way back then I wasn't always good about writing the company name on the back.

BTW, this style of card seems to be one that people of the male persuasion gravitate to. I've had several occasions where cards like this (brayered background with black silhouette stamped on it) are what guys call "masculine." It's a great, go-to style when making "manly" cards...

Nope, not it. My notes say it was in a grab bag purchased from "AAS" in 1999. I think it was a company called Appalachian Art Stamps, but they've been out of business for several years. On looking at the image, it's a much denser stand of trees than this one. Sorry! I'll go look at CHF, too...

Thank you GypsyRoseStamper (from another forum thread I started asking about the stamp I had used on this card). The background stamp I used was stamped once only (it IS in "landscape" mode). GypsyRoseStamper tells me it is available through www.stamp-out-cute.com and is the 'Trees Background' (BKG-3). Like Betsy, I had purchased many MANY many years ago. Many of the other unmounted stamps I had purchased at the same time at the same rubber stamp show were also on this site.

It is a Son Light stamp...I just found mine! #1179 Trees Silhouette is the number and name.

Have no idea if anyone still makes it or not. i am ashamed to say, mine has never seen daylight let alone ink!

what's interesting is that the trees look IDENTICAL to the trees in the CHF set... weird.

Yes CHF bought out SonLight some years ago - I have their Trees BG stamp (not the same as this landscape one which I am REALLY loving!) and love it

I have the CHF one but haven't used it yet; I'm definitely inspired to though after seeing this beaty! Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
