Look what I found at Garden Ridge today. Of course, this can be used with yellow cardstock too for our Troops. The picture is of the punched result but you can also take an exacto knife and cut it out and it will make a cool ribbon without the circle. Had to have this when I saw it given all the buzz about the Hope Is...set that SU! is offering!
The punch is made by Armada Art Materials out of Boston MA. The Item # is 30061C. It's called the Ribbon Awareness Punch. A portion of the sales are dontated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Oooh, oooh, I have to tell you. I was at my local stamp store today and found that Quick Cutz has a little ribbon diecut similart to this. I got it and am going to do fun things with it for Oct. Just thought I'd let you know!
That punch is so neat. My girlfriend is just going through the whole process of removing hers next weekend. It runs in her family though :( So was going to try to do something for her next weekend. The bad part about that auction is $20 I think was the starting bid and that person wants BOTH of them on the auction
Suppose you could call Garden Ridge and request and maybe buy it over the phone? I got it at the Plano, TX location. Here's the Garden Ridge Website. All the other info you need is in a previous post about the item # and such... It's in the crafts/hobbies/scrapbook section.
I went to the website and it says that they don't sell anything other than in the store. No web orders. What a bummer we don't have one here in Michigan. Maybe a stamping fairy will help me find one. Kerry
If there are any stamping fairies that will purchase them and mail them out, I would like to be included in this...I know it is a lot to ask, but...you never know if you don't ask...
so, if anyone finds a stamping fairy willing to do this...please refer her to me, too!
It is a wonderful punch.

I just noticed that I spelled Cancer wrong! How funny! Well, that horrible little decease doesn't deserve to be spelled correctly anyway!
I wish I could be a stampin' fairy for everyone but won't be able to get over to Garden Ridge until tomorrow night & I'll bet they're gone by then.. I'll try and I'll post if I find anything.
I found a site that has Breast Cancer awareness stuff. They have a punch here, but it is $12. What I thought was neat is, they have brass templates for $3 and cute little pink ribbon confetti.

I live in Mesquite, TX and there is a Garden Rigde here. I will see if I can purchase some and get back with you all. Keep your fingers crossed that I find them.

Heads up ladies ... I just bought the McGill punch (1/2 inch by 1 inch ribbon) from Archivers this morning. Also, I bought the brass templates featured on the web site linked a few messages up from a local craft store this past spring.
Found the punch ONLINE for a lot less than the eBay price. Hope the link below doesn't "break" (still trying to figure out how some of this message board stuff works). If it does break it's under Scrapbooking & Papercrafting-->Punches-->Armada Art Punches.
