Default Birthday Card Club

So the pick of Daven's mail pile got me to thinking. Wouldn't it be cool if we started a Birthday swappers club? You'd get no where near the volume but I'd personally be over the moon with 11 cards!

Here's what I'm thinking. We get 12 SCS'ers with a Bithday in each month of the year. Everyone sends the birthday girl (or guy) a card and they don't send one when it's their month.

Is this already happening and I've missed it? What are your thoughts?

Sounds like fun. If you get this going, I'd love to join. (My birthday is in October.) I need more excuses to actually USE my stamps!

We already have this for those that are members of the RAK (random act of kindness) group if you are interested. Anyone here can join--It is fun! Check out the front page of SCS for User Groups and you'll see it there.

Default RAK is great.......

After you join you get access to a humungous list of names, addresses and birthdays. Then, besides a birthday each month, you can play games with the list.....

Send a hello card to someone who....
* lives in your state/province
* has initials that match yours
* has a Splitcoast name that makes you laugh
* has the same name as your mother (or sister)
* posted a question last week on Splitcoast

Send one every month going alphabetically through the states

And don't forget to look for someone who....
* has your same birthday

.
