The Parent Board at the Middle school my dgt attends greets the teachers back to school by putting a small item in their mailbox with an encouraging message. In the past, we have done things like microwave popcorn, mints, etc. The budget is limited and there are probably about 60 staff who receive the gift. Anyone have any new fun ideas?!! Usually I stamp a little topper or gift enclosure....
Instead of "May your holiday be filled with joy"... How about "May your school year be filled with joy"...? Or, on a funny note since they are Almond Joy candy bars, "Nuts, it's time for another school year!" Although I suppose that is sort of a negative comment. ;) I AM seriously thinking of making up one of these for my best friend who is a teacher. (Using the "Nuts" theme.) But I know she had a good sense of humor and will take it right.

I'm a teacher, too, and not looking forward to 2 weeks of meetings beginning Aug. 13. The "nuts" would really make me smile and I'd keep it in a place where I could see it often all year!
Last year I made 2 4 6 boxes for teachers. They are somewhere on SCS, Techniques or resources... They were black cardstock with little trick or treat characters stamped in white and the top was folded with a ribbon and a small tag. You can put any small candies inside. People loved them.
